The Constitution's 4th Amendment foresaw even this. Street and public area facial recognition cameras feeding garbage to cops constitutes nothing less than 24/7 search without a warrant on an entire population. A return to these Constitutional fundamentals is how this abomination must be attacked, or we become China, where people have no rights whatsoever.

This video looks like a creepy futuristic science fiction. People suddenly getting tackled by cops and hauled away.

Except it is real, right now in UK, and coming here if we don't stop it.

"In a surprise display of agreement across party lines, a bipartisan group of US senators, nearly half of what is required to pass legislation, have challenged the TSA’s accelerated program of collecting facial recognition data which can identify people at a distance with street cameras.

Facial recognition scans are based on the kind of high resolution images which can be taken by any cellphone camera or the special equipment now being deployed by the TSA at airports. The technology gives facial recognition cameras the data they require to identify people going about their business in public, without them knowing it.

The system is a hallmark of the Chinese government’s total, 24/7 surveillance regime, in which the movements of every person except perhaps elites and high party officials are monitored, and all movements stored in a database.

Gizmodo reports on November 22, 2024:

“A bipartisan group of 12 senators has urged the Transportation Security Administration’s inspector general to investigate the agency’s use of facial recognition, saying it poses a significant threat to privacy and civil liberties.

The letter was signed by Jeffrey Merkley (D-OR), John Kennedy (R-LA), Ed Markey (D-MA), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas), Ron Wyden (D-OR), Steve Daines (R-MT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and Peter Welch (D-VT).”

Biometric Update reported on the same day:

“Senator Merkley’s advocacy resonates with Americans concerned about the growing encroachment of surveillance in public spaces, a fear that many Republicans share. While proponents of facial recognition argue that the technology enhances security, opponents contend that it sets a dangerous precedent. They warn of a future where constant monitoring becomes normalized, eroding the expectation of privacy in everyday life.”

Is Trump “In the Way” of China-Style Dystopia Based on Facial Recognition? Or is He Deep State?

Trump was fond of saying during his first term, “They are not after me, they are after you, I’m just in the way.” Trump never fully explained what he meant by this, but as he begins his second presidency, anyone watching the approaching facial recognition, digital credit financial system used to control the population in China can see that it is being attempted here. And whether Trump stops it or allows it will either save American freedom, or end it once and for all.

The federal government is already “offering” an option to submit a video selfie, a centerpiece of the system, as a biometric identification by which anyone can be picked out by a street facial recognition camera. The platform is Login.gov, by which Americans access everything from social security to veterans benefits...."

They do it in China and they do it in the UK. What about Europe and Australia?

Um, is this going to be used to identify all the illegals that have been flown all over the country?

They could use this for airport screening, border screening, finding missing persons, solving crimes, voter verification and every other thing that involves identification. All these things would be cheaper and more efficient with facial recognition technology. Let it happen.

Lefties love this shit. The state is their overlord.

We are far away from a TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT and PRIVACY FOR CITIZENS.

This is antithetical to the US CONSTITUTION.

Under COVID lockdowns there was no crime!
