Did one of the left wing judges leak Roe versus Wade? Was the leak made to affect the midterms?

Not sure how old you are, but you communicate at the level of a 12 year old.
Due to a horrific spinal injury I have to use the voice feature to communicate. But I’m still doing better than you in this forum ,look at my score lol !!!!

Lol have a good day man, you’re a great armchair warrior!

That’s possible. The bottom line it with somebody. And I want know who it was was it one of the Jews or one of the atheists? Because this stuff does matter and those people should have respect for the Christian majority country. Again Catholics who live in Muslim majority country should respect Islam. Hindus who live in Buddhist majority countries should respect Buddhism. This is common sense and imo a part of liberalism and multiculturalism

So I am Catholic. If I lived in a Jewish state. I would respect the Jewish religion. And I understand that a good many Jewish rabbis oppose abortion and I would certainly respect those people. So that’s my position and I just wonder what fellow Americans think about it but I see how far left Democrats itt react, they don’t wanna have a conversation
What makes you think Judaism allows abortion? Feticide is prohibited by Jewish law, and abortion is permitted only if the mother’s life is imperiled by her pregnancy.

Where you are getting confused is by secular Jews who place their “liberalism” above their Judaism, which is the vast majority of Reform Jews and a slight majority among Conservatives. More religious Jews abide by Jewish teachings, and are overwhelmingly conservative.

Of course it could just as well have been a conservative justice who wanted to run the decision up the flag pole and get the most caustic reactions out of the way before the actual decision was released.

And also to ensure none of the Yes votes to repeal it changed their minds.

It’s not about Christianity at all. it’s about the Constitution, which says that rights not specifically outlined in the Constitution remain with the states.

So the better question is….did one of the leftist anti-Constitutional justices leak?
Good morning. Are you against abortion? Yes this is a constitutional issue and you’re making great points in this thread and in the other threads about the threat of the far left. And yes I’m certainly wondering Lisa is this leak something that came from a far left activist?. .

And yes I want to know who leaked this decision and what is their religion. Because for me it is about respect it’s about dignity.

Other people will disagree with my approach and that’s fine. That’s the country we live in we could have amicable disagreements… I am against abortion not only due to my Catholic beliefs but I believe also because of non-Catholic beliefs that we should not have abortion.

It just so happens that on this topic a person can be a Christian or non-Christian and they can point to the Christian religion and they can say hey let’s look at this and let’s outlaw abortion. So it’s an interesting part of the dynamic here.

Again this is a side topic from what you’re talking about. I agree with you in the United States we have equal rights for everybody it doesn’t matter if they’re Christian or not. But for me if somebody is Jewish or Muslim and they are living in the United States they should respect the Christian religion. You know I’m a Catholic and I respect a Muslim and Jewish religion. Most Muslims Jews and Catholics respect each other. But you have these rare people you have these few people in the world who are not about mutual respect.

Frankly When it comes to abortion there are so many atheists who are against abortion. There are atheists who have donated more money to the poor than Christians have. Here in our American society we are Christian majority but we work together Christians and non-Christians. We continue to celebrate Christian holidays like Christmas where atheist take a part in these holidays. And we all get along with each other greatly.

I understand that there is a states rights discussion when it comes to Roe versus Wade and abortion. My position along with other Americans is that abortion should be outlawed on a federal level it should be outlawed across the country and part of that in my view is because of the Christian religion. Now other Americans will tell us that abortion should be outlawed on a federal level due to reasons other than Christianity.

Not much conversation to be had other than to say nobody cares what you think.

Then you should make a better choice of the words you use. Racist crazies supporting racist crazies isn't much of a surprise or notable in any way.

Well if that was the case it would be a terrible thing. Some are saying that the decision to leak Roe versus Wade caused the Republicans to lose the Senate. That would be b/c would be Republican voters voted against the Republicans because they thought they would lose access to abortion. But that goes to show us there’s a problem with some of the American population perhaps. I mean how could it be that one of the wealthiest countries in the world with the strongest military has a substantial part of our population that supports abortion? It is unimaginable. But we have to ask how much of this country actually supports abortion. ? What is it 5- 30%? And how do we rely on polls anymore after the 2016 election.?

Or perhaps to be fair the gop could have ran better candidates. I suppose it’s possible that anti-abortion people still voted for pro abortion candidates because they thought they had better track records or they could do better on other topics.

So we really have two issues going on here. How much of the American public supports abortion?

Who led the decision to overturn roe versus way. Because this is a crime it is a crime against humanity. And we have to get to the bottom of this…. The American public is owed an answer here

The second part of the post is about the American public. Did the Republicans lose the Senate because of the leak about roe versus wade? Because if that’s the case that means our countries population has a problem and it means that our country‘s population or at least too much of them have been brainwashed by the capitalistic materialistic media that tells us don’t even care about Christianity stop caring about Christmas…. just go and do drugs all the time. we’re legalizing marijuana all over America… That’s what happens when people lose Christian values they turn to drugs, they turn to degradation, they turn to pornography, they turn to just sitting at home all the time. They turn to not being a man not going out meeting women. Look at the divorce rate in America it’s very high. Young people are not going out and meeting other people these are serious problems and we have a government we even have Democrats and Republicans who oppose family values and who support abortion.

What kind of life is that ?is that what the far left wants for young Americans…. that’s the far left want young people to be pro abortion, anti-American, pro reparations, anti-police….. Well it ain’t gonna happen because more and more Americans are beginning to see the light we’re going back to traditional values and we’re gonna make this country something to be proud of once again.
I think you have a very unrealistic view of Christianity, as least how it has been practiced over the centuries.
  • Traditionally, abortion was common in the West and not really a major Christian issue. Midwives delivered babies and no one really knew if a baby was stillborn or killed. In Medieval Germany it was legal to leave a new born out doors to die of exposure.
  • Abuse of alcohol was and remains common in Christian societies.

Was is it one of the non-Christian judges that leaked the decision to overturn roe versus wade? If it was I can’t imagine how those judges or the judge can sleep at night.

So what was it ? it was either a judge or one of the clerks ….those were the only people in the room right?

I’m not happy with the Supreme Court right now. It feels like it was one of the non-Christian judges the far left judges who must’ve done this. They think that they’re God or something….? these people who claim to be authority figures who claim to be judges and who think that they have a right to uphold abortions are only judges a name. Certainly not in the eyes of any good moral system …they’re not a judge that’s for sure.

Of course it was. Democrats are the dirtyest theivingest bastards there are.

The ruling came out long before the mid-terms so the effect would have been the same. The leak would only have helped if the ruling was not going to be out prior to the election

If it was Mike it is an outrage my brother. But let’s try and be Christian in our response here. When they go low we go high. Yes I will borrow that from Michelle Obama because when she said that it was beautiful.

When “they” as in people who support abortion go so low as to mock , deride and bully other people. Let’s go high with a message of Jesus.

I noticed that pro abortion people are usually bullies, they use grade school bullying tactics. While the pro life people are adult like responsible people. Pro lifers are polite, they are kind to refugees they believe in treating the poor with respect, they believe in treating non-Christians with love and respect.

I think abortion is a terrible, traumatic event to be avoided at all costs. But like most Americans I weigh it against the other involved party, the mother and prefer her to make the decision rather than leave it to the State (at least in the vast majority of cases).

The problem is, in my view, when you bring religion into it at all. We have a stronger case when we stick to the Constitution and states’ rights.

When you bring religion into it, you run headfirst into the instruction that there should be no laws respecting any specific religion at all. This is not a Christian nation, albeit a nation with majority Christian. This is what our founders were trying to avoid after their experience with the Church of England.

What makes you think Judaism allows abortion?
Jewish law does not consider the fetus to be a being with a soul until it is born. It does not have personhood. Furthermore, before 40 days, some poskim, or deciders of Jewish law, have a low bar for allowing an abortion.

The Talmud, in Yevamos 69b, cites the view of Rav Hisda that “until forty days from conception the fetus is merely water. It is not yet considered a living being.”

If there is a threat to a woman’s life, the safety of the mother takes precedence over continuing the pregnancy at any stage. Many sources illustrate this graphically and rather unambiguously, and all modern poskim, or religious decisors, agree on this. In fact, in certain circumstances, a fetus that endangers the life of the mother is legally considered a “murderer” in active pursuit.

For example, in a case of maternal danger, we find in Sanhedrin 72b (further clarified with Rashi’s commentary) that “a midwife may insert her hand into the womb and kill the fetus … [the reason is] for as long as the fetus has not emerged into the world, it is not a nefesh [a being with a soul]; one is therefore allowed to kill it and save the mother …”

No that is not in the Constitution. States don't have rights, people have rights. States have powers.

There is no if. Making nice is dangerous. Look where it's gotten us.
