Did anyone vote for Trump because they thought he paid a significant amount of income tax?

How many voted for Trump because they believed he was a master businessman?

His taxes reveal that is a myth

You obviously know nothing about owning a company or business.

The idiots think he did something illegal.

And thats just what they are, idiots. There is nothing illegal in having expenditures exceed revenues.

Any business man growing and making new investments would have little income as they write off their investment.

Democrats don't grasp assets, which are not on tax forms

Thats exactly right. Ive started three companies and never took an income until I sold them. I took all of the write offs and deductions based on the money I invested and everything that could apply to the business. Libs see someone who owns a business as rich people and instantly start hating.

Yep. I started three as well. Same. Of course I made sure I didn't pay much tax, that would have throttled my business's cash flow. Besides equipment, I kept buying smaller companies which gave me more write-offs in addition to expanding my business.

I know people who only look at cash flow, and it's for that reason. Though I think income statements combined with cash flow provide the best forward picture. But tax forms? Um ... no ... Not once did I ever ask for tax returns when I bought a business. It would have been useless to me

I have always found this obsession with Presidential candidates or sitting Presidents taxes strange. I don’t care about Trumps taxes I didn’t care about Hillary’s nor do I care about Biden’s the IRS has their returns if there is something illegal in them they can deal with it.

Can someone please tell me just what laws this president has broken? Not what you think he's done.
Keep it simple, just lay it out without all the, "he's a poopy pants" rhetoric.

He hasn't broken any laws. Libs cant comprehend expenditures, revenues, losses, deductions, write-offs. There's no point to even argue with them.
That's why it was smart for Trump not to release his taxes. This attempt to deliberately misconstrue them was entirely predictable.

I voted for Trump as the first Washington outsider-non-politician to break the cycle and finally get someone in office who would actually expect EFFICIENCY out of government who was representing the NATION and its people instead of just lining their own pockets getting rich lobbying and working for whatever foreign interest can bribe them.

First, corporate taxes are double taxes.

And just to be clear, so you think corporations should be paying taxes not investing and creating jobs and writing off their expenses because we tax profits not revenue.

No wonder you people don't grasp Venezuela and what happened there
TRUMP SAID IT. Not me.

All caught up now?

Warren Buffett said that too. So where are you blasting him? So did Obama. What a douche, huh? Oh wait, they are Democrats, it's fine ...

Dimm's have this intrusive mob mentality. A total character defect!

Whatever TRUMP is he accomplished things other president tried to do and failed. Along with things other president didn't bother with like getting other countries to pay more in NATO, and flipping off the WHO for being a puppet of China, just 2 examples.

Wow. You people are amazingly stupid.

Trump. Said. Hedge. Funds. Should. Be Taxed. More.

All caught up now, tard?

I have no idea what point you are making regarding the discussion. No. That seems consistent with Trump paying low taxes, not contradictory to it. What is your point?

The idiots think he did something illegal.

That's for the Manhattan DA's office to determine.
These tax records show he is a complete fraud and a shitty businessman.
His entire persona is bullshit.

Yada....yada.....yada...

Did they vote for him because he was a billionaire business tycoon?
Did they vote for him because they hoped he’d be their savior should a manufactured virus hit America?
Did they vote for him because he’s verbally articulate?

As the latest talking points / narrative develops, I’m curious, will anyone vote for him on the aforementioned issues in November?

Many people voted for Trump because he is a rich successful billionaire. They think the government should be run more like a business: lean, efficient, and with an eye to keeping costs low. Instead of getting a smart, capable manager, they got a chaotic mismanagement based, not on sound business practices, and a well reasonable approach to problem, but on the "gut instincts" of a lazy and incompetent fool who has used other people's money to bailout his failures all of his life.

Many people voted for Trump because they thought his success in running a multi-national empire made him capable of handling whatever problems the country might face, and that he would make good decisions when those problems arose, whatever they might be. These are the people who are now voting for Biden.

Your last question shows how desperate you are. They expected Trump to be able to articulate his plans, his decisions and his ideas to the American people. Trump keeps on questioning Biden's mental fitness, but the President's rambling and incoherent press conferences make it appear that Trump is the guy with the dementia problem. So is Trump's fixation in going after his enemies.

In her final years, my mother-in-law was convinced that everyone was out to "get rid of her" and "steal the house out from under her". She attacked everyone in the family, irrationally. Trump reminds me of her behaviour, going after the FBI, the CIA, and anyone who dares disagree with him.

He also looks really sickly. Where his face isn't spray painted, it's a really sickly shade of white, and since he hasn't been able to have a face lift while in office, his mask has deteriorated badly while he's been in office.

Another leftists who doesn't know what the difference between tax returns and income statements and balance sheets are.

How could his tax return possibly show that? Paying low taxes from your corporation is GOOD. Why would a business man leave money on the table and not write off his investments? That's just stupid.

You don't even understand what I just said either, did you simpleton

I could support the 10% min tax, but for the super rich, there should also be a 1% wealth tax on holdings.
Why shouldn't all citizens be taxed equally, either by rate or flat annual amount? Why add extra taxation just because someone is more financially successful? 10% of $10,000,000 is far, far more that 10% of $100,000, so the high incomes would be paying much more. Taxation should be equal, not a reflection of one's jealousy over another's success.
