Did anyone really believe that the UN giving Palestine to extremist Jews would bode well for peace?

Your point?

If you hold on to an alleged injustice for two generations, that is your choice to be consumed by hatred and the past.

My dad, a WWII vet, had some resentment against the Japanese. He mentioned it ONCE to me.

He did not raise me to hate them.

I am not raising my child to hate them.

We have moved on.

WWII is OVER.

These Palestinians could learn something from my dad.

That's not a very good analogy, the Palestinians currently are under foreign military occupation subjected to daily humiliation that the children see or have been evicted from their homeland and are living in refugee camps. Forgetting something that is happening in real time on a daily basis is not possible.

No, the point is the same. Choose to hold onto your hate, or move on in the world.

The Arab World is vast compared to Israel. Hell, I've met palestinians in this country.

If Israel is so horrible for them, MOVE.

What does what is happening in the "Arab world" have to do with Muslim and Christian Palestinians under military occupation being oppressed and humiliated daily?

Most Palestinians today live under PA control. Hopefully a peace agreement soon will put an end to checkpoints and stuff like that.

All Palestinians are under martial law enforced by military occupation forces, the Palestinians control nothing. PA control is a contradiction in terms.

Actually, Arabs-Moslems occupying the disputed territories are not under martial law. You obviously are befuddled. They certainly are under the control of theocratic totalitarians of the Islamist variety, but that is typical for Islamist societies across the Islamist Middle East.

So, you don't know about Areas A, B, and C? Area A is under PA control, Area C is under Israeli control and Area B is under joint control. I read this in a Fodor's Travel Book because they have to advise tourists about procedures for visiting the various areas of the West Bank. BTW, it's illegal for Jewish tourists to visit Bethlehem, which is under PA control. The city where David was born. You should do your homework.

Well, it is really important for the people who already lived there and got booted from their homes. Yes, really important. It doesn't matter how small. It was everything they had.

You're talking about the 1940s? Nearly 80 years ago?

The Japanese threw him out of his home?

Try to not be a dishonest prick.
The "Nakba" is not just an event in 1948. It is a process that continues today. It is a current problem, not one in the past.

Indeed, most Palestinians live outside of their homeland. That is a current problem.

Please, Area A is no more under Palestinian control than Paris was under French control. You really should get out more, all of Palestine has always under Israeli military control. Stop believing the propaganda.

From the article:

"Israel and the PA have been negotiating in recent months a change in the status quo for Area A. The IDF began to operate there during Operation Defensive Shield in 2002 — a massive Israeli military campaign to quash terrorism during the Second Intifada — and has continued to do so since."

Bedouins are nomads that like to move around and live everywhere, like Gypsies. Plenty of Bedouins live in Israel too.

Why don't you quote any Arab source where they're not planning to murder Jews?

Most Bedouins are sedentary today. A tiny minority continue to be nomadic. The Saudi royal family (and most of those considered true Saudis) are sedentary Bedouin, for example,

The Jews of Israel took it by force of arms...

Your people (Muslim-Arab-Palestinians) are underperforming losers and self-excusing whiny little bitches... best scattered to the Four Winds... they won't be missed.

You are right, Britain gave Palestine to the Jews. Without British suppression of the native inhabitants resistance to Zionist colonization in the early stages, it would not have been possible for the Europeans to establish and increase the population of the colony which led to Israel.

If the Jews (European converts to Judaism) took the land by conquest, it puts in question the de jure existence of Israel, given that with the establishment of the UN, the taking of land by armed conquest is contrary to international law.

Learn some history. You are befuddled.
