Because planes have been used.

Garydog is right about some things though. Seems some folks have decided it's terrorism to the point of offering complete speculation.

Police haven't. Of course they haven't taken anything off the table. That would be irresponsible before the investigation is complete. What they have said so far is - no evidence of terror links, no evidence of religiosity, nothing yet found in his background.

What evidence is confirmed? A struggle of some kind in the cockpit leading to the crash.
They guy badly wanted to be a pilot.
*Might* have been washing out of the program.
Was a Muslim.
Police don't SAY it's terrorism even when they know doggone well it is because of politically correct ostriches like you.

You say terrorism even when it isn't. So what's the point? Why is it so difficult for you to look at the evidence?

Has anyone come forward and said he was religious? What's been found on his facebook? Friends and family? What are they saying about him? Police have to keep everything on the table until it's concluded, but thus far have found nothing indicating terrorism.

Maybe they will.

Maybe they won't.

A purported photo of Feras Freitekh in the old country during happier days when he was a student plane crasher, BUT NOT A TERRORIST!

Your mind's made up.
You are correct, my position is that until facts have been determined to establish things one way or another we do not know that the suicide was a terrorist act or not.

There has been another plot uncovered in Connecticut. This time the terrorists want to recreate Aladdin and his Flying Carpet to crash into throngs of innocent people.

They are having problems getting the plan off the ground.

Exactly. So why are you arguing so hard in favor of it being a terrorist attack when there is nothing in the evidence as of yet to support it?

I prefer to look at the available evidence.

Oh yes.

Bring on 9/11.

This is not comparable by any means.

They have to train somewhere, so this Jordanian, for all people are aware, might have had further intentions to be like the below and assist in taking part in something like the below.

Mohammed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi both trained to fly aeroplanes at the Florida Flight School, they then went on to be parts of the 911 Terrorist team crashing aeroplanes into the Twin Towers.

This link, is part interview with Rudi Dekkers who owned the Florida Flight School, as he had written a book, but within it tells about Atta and Al-Shehhi and the FBI visiting Dekkers etc.

I was a victim, too, says author whose flight school trained 9/11 terrorists

I am not arguing anything.

As the 911 Terrorists, as some of them also were in America on these M1 visas to be taught to fly aeroplanes, knowing what they did with that training, I think it's criminal to allow ANY Muslim into ANY Western nation who requests they want to be in that nation to attend a flight school.

No Western nation should have Muslims either flying Commercial aircraft or on visas attending flight schools, the risk they cause is just too great.

We must forget about Political Correctness, the most important thing is that our collective peoples in all Western nations are protected from anything and everything.

"Mr. Freitekh arrived in the U.S. in 2012 on an M1 visa for flight school and was issued a pilot’s license in May 2015, the network reported. The man was issued a license for single-engine planes."

HARTFORD — A few hours before he died in a Connecticut plane crash, Feras Freitekh left a message for a close friend in his native Jordan in which he joked around, asked for help with a game app and said he would talk with him after a final flight test this week.

The friend, Amjad Majdy, said Freitekh was happy to be fulfilling his passion for aviation. He and others who were close to the student pilot say they are puzzled by U.S. officials’ assertions that Tuesday’s plane crash was intentional, including one official who said it appears to have been a suicide attempt by Freitekh.

“He was laughing and he was normal. Nothing wrong with him,” Majdy, who lives in Amman, said via Facebook messaging. “He loved being a pilot. That was his dream.” ...

All my research points to the suicide as happy guy as well who loved to fly... There is much more to this story.

I've read stuff saying that he was unhappy at how he was doing in the class. Another source - unidentified - said terrorism had been ruled out. Of course "unidentified" is always a bit of a flag but none the less it's out there.

I read a report that a woman (anonymous) who knew both the instructor and the student, said that the student acted very bizarrely and freaked out about the fact he needed to have his photo taken re a certification issue. Also, there have been many reports that his official address was unlived in by him and only used for receiving mail. Potentially odd.
