Sorry to jump in, respected posters.

I believe that everyone should have equal access to education.

However, due to culture and to the fact that non-Asian brown and black people have lower IQ's on average than whites, the outcomes of that equal access would not be equal. Therefore there would have to be a conscious leveling up of educational opportunities for what we call "minority" students.

Yes, these are averages and there are many Blacks and Latinos who are outliers who are highly intelligent, just like highly intelligent whites are outliers. They will often become doctors, lawyers, engineers and other high cognitive load professions.

But . . . not in as high numbers as whites and Asians, not in absolute numbers and not as a percent of the minority population compared to the percent of the white population. Not unless there is a conscious effort to not only level up educational opportunities for them, but to admit them to advanced education programs and to graduate them from those programs, and to hire them in the professions.

If this sounds like racism then it is reality that is racist. IQ is a reliable predicter of success, and race is a reliable predicter if IQ - as an average.

Hard to get happy after that one, I know. I wish it were not true and that all we need do is remove the roadblocks put in place by the historically racist sytem. But I know of no evidence for that idea.
You're saying truths, but you messed up in saying "If this sounds like racism"... it's not. Don't believe weird 5-minute old definitions of the term "racism" by the left. Also, "Reality is racist"? No. Reality cannot believe a race is superior or inferior to another.

Discrimination happens, and it's not always negative. We discriminate in our lives all the time, and we're sometimes wise to do so.
 
I really tire of whites saying the last line in your post. Funny how when whites think life is unfair, they use every means necessary to end what they think is unfair, even when it has not been unfair to them. Life is unfair, that's true, but legislated unfairness should never be allowed.
Life is unfair and much of that is beyond our control. What we do control should never make life more unfair. We have a responsibility to ourselves and others to mitigate or undo life's unfairness when we can.
 
We've know for generations that the primary factor to determine educational outcome is PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT.

You want to improve education? Support policies aimed as making the NUCLEAR TWO PARENT FAMILY the norm again. and the more the better.

And we can start with the welfare system that discourages women from marrying their Baby Daddies - or even filing for child support.

1. Get back to where the idea of single women having four and five babies with four or five different men is SHAMEFUL.

2. Reduce SNAP payment to women with illegitimate children to the point that they can no longer afford soda, candy, Freetos, etc.

3. Require women to identify the man (or men, some are real sluts) who they slept with during the month they became pregnant, require the man to take a DNA test, and then require the woman to file for child support before ANY welfare is paid.

To tie this back to OP’s point, this would encourage more married parents, or at least INVOLVED daddies, and thus benefit the child’s educational outcomes.

Due to the high rate of OOW births among blacks, this approach would particularly help black children close rhe education gap.

I agree that it is indeed unfair for the Democrats to have created policies that give unfair advantages to blacks, and particularly female blacks, in the college admissions arena as well as for jobs and promotions.

Blacks, and particularly female blacks, will now have to compete based on merit, and we won’t get stuck with idiots like Kamala Harris, Karine Jean-Pierre, or Affirmative Action z Jackson again. They are ALL in their positions due to unfair fwvoritism.

1) None of that proves anything. Blacks have nearly 3 out of 4 babies out-of-wedlock, and commit violent crimes at a rate well above whites.

2) And when you start calling people who refuse to go along with your false claims “evil,” guess what that makes YOU?

3) Once blacks get their out-of-wedlock birthrate and crime rate down to the level of whites, THEN we’ll look at other reasons for the lower percentage of blacks in top roles. You can’t just ignore behavior that is correlated with bad outcomes, and then moan that outcomes aren’t equal.

For many reasons, Blacks in this country tend to be less educated than Whites so the numbers you cite are hardly surprising.
