(I actually could go on for pages about how our system of hiring and job selection is all manner of messed up, from using computers to read resumes to hiring people on the basis of one interview)

And once again, my profession is not importing inept foreigners to replace Americans not matter how much it pays.

I was also wondering why almost all developers and engineers working at Apple and Amazon, the two most exclusive technical pioneers, are American born and bred.

I know a lot of attorneys and MDs.
The Hospitals and Clinics, including the practice my wife is employed by, were getting their asses sued off due to incorrect prescriptions and bungled Case Management; by the way, my wife's employer lost a suit and immediately sent all the Indians back home.
If you look at the last 3-4 years, you will see almost all American Doctors hired by Health institutions at amazingly high salaries.
I have a few physicians in NYC and Nassau County that not only make over a million a year but have had entire centers rebuilt for their specialties.
You can hide behind shitty computer programs but your can't hire incompetency in Medicine and developing medication.
In fact, I get pissed off when MDs blame Obama for the fact that they are now employees.
I shut them up by asking them their current income.
The fuckers are better off than ever.

States are not in poverty--cities are. And what do they consider poverty? By how much they get from the federal government. However, the cost of living is so high in commie states, that you can live just as good if not better in a red state making half of the income.

A 800K house where you live costs about 300K here, and we are technically not considered a red state. However our government is all red and has been for some years now. Our poverty exists in blue cities.

So why did they go to places like China? Because of the unions. The Republicans didn't bust up the unions, the consumers did. When you have two of the same products on the store shelf, one of them twice the cost of the other one, the cheaper one will sell out first, and nobody will buy the more expensive one unless the cheaper one is sold out and they have no choice.

Americans soon realized that if they go union, their shop will move out of state, out of the country, or simply close down because they can't compete with foreign made products.
