This would have made the extension of the Trump tax cuts cost us only $1 Trillion in revenues instead of $2 Trillion and not make the Trillion dollar cuts to MEDICAID etc.....

The so called Laffer curve only tells a part of the story. Stock appreciation resulting from lower taxes represents unrealized appreciation of a person's assets. Lower taxes puts more money in the hands of the people who, in my opinion, will use it more sensibly than our broken government. Giving more money to government ALWAYS results in more senseless government spending, much of it trying to buy votes. Just look at what the ACA did to healthcare costs. Look at the Pentagon spending thousands of dollars on a toilet. That type of insane spending is also inflationary. Excess money in governments hands is NEVER good.
