Congress voted to send a clean CR to the senate to be considered. 52 republicans, 2 democrats and an independent voted to accept the resolution and keep the gov't open to facilitate the debate and negotiation of a budget. Schumer and 44 other DEMOCRATS voted to reject this opportunity for negotiation FOURTEEN times. Those are INDISPUTABLE FACTS. Sorry it doesn't fit with your oft repeated narrative, but no matter how many times you parrot to the contrary, this is SCHUMERS SHUTDOWN, own it.
