"Yes the police interactions are racist but not as violently racist as it seems" is not a very good argument.

Weed the racism out. Period.

Or maybe the black community can deal with its crime issues and not have to deal with police as much. Racism isn't the bulk of the reason for this situation.

As long as progressives and the black community take that angle, the black community will never improve their plight.

Too bad. The issue is not going to go away no matter how much you want it to.

Police brutality overall won't go away for a while, but it is more likely to recede than the possibility of progressives losing their race obsession.

It is going to be addressed because people do not want their things burned down.

That has more to do with the militancy and violence of the left in general. The media does a great job of covering for them while demonizing the Capitol protests, but many leftists may eventually find out that conservatives are well armed.

The cities that have felt the brunt of burning and looting tend to be progressive, and the people are typically less armed.

If BLM tried this sort of thing in Kennesaw, Georgia, they'd be dealt with swiftly.

But yes, intimidating many deep blue cities with violence probably will work. It just won't work in redder areas.

Those arrested cried out for Trump to save them. They aren't all that intimidating.

It's working everywhere. Granted it will take longer in the extremely racist areas just like integrating the schools did.

You'll scrape up some George Wallace's again but we are going to enact changes.

The people at the Capitol aren't the conservatives I'm talking about. The Q types were pretty gullible.

I'm talking about the 3 percenters, among others. You had a few members of that group there, but most militia members didn't fall for the Q stuff. They recognized it for the psyop that it was. The best armed conservatives don't typically show up for protests unless it's specifically with regard to gun rights, like in Richmond a year or so ago. These are people that usually have significant weapons training and supplies. They don't seek out conflict, but if it comes to them, they're ready.

That being said, your response has some truth to it in that violence can force people to submit, but other people will fight to the death.

If BLM and others like them hope to enact any lasting change, they'll have to burn and loot less. Protesting is fine, but violence is not.

It was a call because it was a black man. All the same......."I'm walking home from work". Check over.
The only appropriate answer for seeing a black man apparently in distress is shut up and walk on by.

Nobody was in distress. The caller was simply too dishonest to make an honest 911 call.

It's the violence that enacted the change. The founders understood this.

And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Thomas Jefferson.

There are no militia types unless the founders understood this and created the 2nd Amendment also.

There is no seeing nothing. One has nothing to do with the other.
They absolutely do. The reason why BLM exists is because a lot of people falsely believe that police brutality is a race issue. That narrative has been pushed by the media for decades.

It is clearly a race issue. You aren't going to see it and that really doesn't matter.

The Defund Movement is already resulting in more black people dying.

BLM, as it exists is black racism against whites.

You show me white racists rioting and killing and looting against black people, and I will be just as against it.

White racists don't have to do that. We have shown them killing blacks and you dismiss it. Just as I am you.

I've dismissed the ones that look like NOT wacism.

Isn't it funny that my example of racism, involves massive attacks on innocent people just minding their own business, but your examples are generally small individual "attacks" on people committing crimes?

The racists are having a field day on this thread.

They don't give a shit about funding police or not. They just hate people of color

I am unhappy about the way cops are being treated and the effect it will have on our society.

And part of that is concern from my safety and the safety of my family and friends.

You just use color to hate police. Like Donald Trump, the police have always had our support on the right.
