When Liberal progressive democrats force their ideals on US, then THEY control the justice system and persecute and demonize anyone that questions THEM? If that isn't facism, what IS?

Today's leftist progs are the OTHER kind of authoritarians namely Marxist or deep Socialists. In BOTH cases you lose freedom of speech, press, redress of govt, personal soveriengty, and any hope of democratic representation or a legal system that doesn't enforce "social behaviors" and even OPINIONS as a crime. That's the short list.

But difference is -- on the matter of central control of the economic system. When you turn LEFTY Communist/Marxist authoritarian -- it's ALL govt central control -- even if like the Chicoms they PRETEND to let SOME of the citizenry claim TITLE to a business, it's STILL operates out of the "goodness" of the central planners.

EITHER form of Authoritanian rule is EQUALLY bad. But the SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES of Marxist destruction and rebuilding your CULTURE and THOUGHT are particularly egregious. In my mind, once you sink to Authoritarian thinking -- that's the end of all personal souvereignty and liberties.

NO ONE will ever figure this out with a ONE DIMENSIONAL "left/right" line. There are multiple dimensions to liberty. I like the 2 dimensional Nolan chart that shows ENOUGH of the WHOLE spectrum to be useful..

That version of the chart leaves off the NEW lefty progressive movement which is probably located BELOW FDR. And the MARXIST elements of that movement (Sanders/AOC/Waters ect - end up somewhere between hugging Karl Marx and sinking towards Stalin. And once you sink far enough below the horizontal "centrist" line -- Democracy is a lost cause. ESPECIALLY if you elect MENTAL MIDGETS as your leadership.

I'd think if that was true, one party would control the media and use them to provide a political narrative to keep them in power.
