In our new world, hyperpartisan leftwingnut partisan drones like the NY State AG or the NY County (Manhattan) DA might be able to secure an indictment against the former President. Getting a purely political indictment against a Republican in NYC (a dark blue cesspool) is the easy part. Getting a fair and objective jury would be the hard part. Getting a fair trial might be impossible. But sustaining a “conviction” — on appeal — would be a leap.

The outgoing Manhattan DA should consider prosecuting actual criminals.
