Current event: The tone of American anger that Could be Foretelling a Near Future Attempt at a Fascist Coup.

Expressing hate for minorities, be they black people, Slovenians, or Jews, early attempts at installing a fascist regime are always consistent.

Wait ----- Slovenians????! What is supposed to be the matter with Slovenians?
History escapes you. If you can't get somebody to tell you then you'll be forced to search out the answer yourself!

Fwiw, the clue was staring you in the face! LOL

Yeah.....who cares that China unleashed on the world a virus that you folks on the left claim has killed over half a million people.
We need to ignore this or be labeled racists.
I noticed that all of your arguments have to be isolated and debated separately in order for your rubbish to appear valid.

Your racism and your hateful talking points are well known in history for what they are, but you've managed to add a modern day slant to it!

'Communism' you summon up is already clearly seen on this thread as the sworn enemy of fascism. One of the extremists established that thankfully, and nobody seems to want to go back and fix it to suit their agenda!

Hate China for allegedly bringing the virus to America.
And then maybe tomorrow on some other thread, make the claim that the virus is just a fake anyway.

This is indicative of the low level of intelligence it takes to buy into fascism.
Is it possible that Germany's people of the 30's would have been capable of stooping to such a low level?
My racism?

My wife is black and nearly half my family is Native-American.
My aunt is Korean.....so I even have Asians who call me uncle....never mind all of the black kids that do the same.
You can stick that racist bullshit up your commie ass.

The reason Germans stooped that low is because they used the same tactics on them they're using on us.
The difference being Americans aren't 99% nationalistic like Germans are.

The reason this shit happens is because you leftists practice group-think and force people to obey or be eliminated by the mob.

Critical race theory (CRT), the view that the law and legal institutions are inherently racist and that race itself, instead of being biologically grounded and natural, is a socially constructed concept that is used by white people to further their economic and political interests at the expense of people of colour. According to critical race theory (CRT), racial inequality emerges from the social, economic, and legal differences that white people create between “races” to maintain elite white interests in labour markets and politics, giving rise to poverty and criminality in many minority communities. The CRT movement officially organized itself in 1989, at the first annual Workshop on Critical Race Theory, though its intellectual origins go back much further, to the 1960s and ’70s.
The launch of the CRT movement marked its separation from critical legal studies (CLS), an offshoot of critical theory that examined how the law and legal institutions function to perpetuate oppression and exploitation. However, instead of drawing theories of social organization and individual behaviour from continental European thinkers such as G.W.F. Hegel, Karl Marx, and Sigmund Freud, as CLS and feminist jurisprudence had done, CRT was inspired by figures such as Martin Luther King, Jr., W.E.B. Du Bois, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, and Frantz Fanon. Critical race theory advanced theoretical understandings of the law, politics, and American sociology that focused on the efforts of white people (Euro-Americans) to maintain their historical advantages over people of colour.
CRT has spread beyond the confines of legal studies to many other fields, notably women’s and gender studies, education, American studies, and sociology. CRT spin-off movements formed by Asian American, Latinx, and LGBTQ scholars have also taken hold.

My apologies to the people who have put such worthy effort into this topic, but I just must get down in the mud with this one.

It can only be seen as a confused attempt to demonize China at the same time as finding China guilt free!

I won't attempt to debate a garden variety slug on the point 'not' being made but I would encourage everybody else to get right into it.

The only point being made by this slug is that China must be hated and demonized because they are to blame/not to blame.

Back on topic please!
Yeah.....cry me a river.
China needs to be held to account for their actions....not hated for GP.
Just because they aren't white doesn't mean they get a pass....or at least shouldn't get one.

The difference between you and me is I know the difference between right and wrong.
Having an agenda shouldn't mean you can't recognize an international crime or an act of war.
Who you are shouldn't excuse you from punishment for your nefarious actions.
550,000 dead and a club named COVID being held over our head for the next several years and you think we should just shrug our shoulders and accept it....because the evil bastards that did it were fucking Chinese.

But one of the biggest questions is still on whether the hate, vitriol, and extremism is real or just isolated extremism that represents the views of a few on this forum?
Bloviating- venting-

I guess, if you go by the dictionary's definition Carlson would be correct-

I have been, since Obama ran the first time against Romney, saying there ain't a dimes worth of difference in policy- different rhetoric is used to sell it, but, the results are the same, which greatly parallel Nazi Germany, (the first time I said that, several years ago, I was attaked form every angle available on a message board, not this one BTW), especially when considering the State controlled media- then, consider The Patriot Act, which BOTH sides love, and eviscerate the 4th amendment- and BOTH subscribe to Borrow to Spend, i.e., a top down economy developed/theorized for the Monarchy of England- yet, here we are, allegedly educated and arguing about a figure head who is constitutionally bound- a constitution neither side adheres to- and the msm parrots = parallel to Nazi Germany- a National Socialist Party. So, are we arguing literal, or what? I guess, since the US is exceptional, we have to have our own totalitarian definition- correct?

I doubt the congress critters who voted for the 14th amendment to be passed dreamed that we would be so far down a rabbit hole we can't get out-

All that said- you can't kill them all, and they can't kill all of us- but, with help from the msm they do and can keep we the stinky tourists divided-

While this forum isn't a scientific poll- I bet it's representation is not to far from an accurate assessment about the divide- and continuing to castigate each other serves into their plan(s) quite nicely- but, we call ourselves educated, sophisticated and exceptional, while publicly displaying the opposite-

Why is it no one wants to weigh in here

Our problems go way deeper than who is infecting the District of Criminals-

Was the 14th. amendment an attempt to heal the divides of a failed Union? From a Canadian outsider's POV, that's the way I interpret your comments on it.

I don't know if this forum is an accurate assessment on the divide. I'm not even sure yet if it's an accurate assessment of the American mindset?

Another forum I post in gives a totally different assessment of the American mindset. Forums seem to attract extremes that will be comfortable with the forum's politics. This one is attractive to me because it's the extreme right braying loudly. But unattractive because it's also mostly low intelligence.

Did I miss one of your points that you consider important enough to repost?

Fwiw, I think America has it's share of intelligent people. Maybe hugely biased politics steals from the intelligence being more obvious?

The expressions of anger, racism, and not so cleverly concealed expressions of gun violence on this forum might be taken seriously or it might just be put off to a few extremists looking for attention and solace following the defeat of Trump. Something bad is happening in America today, be it as bad as some predict or be it just anger and frustration of the few. Now is the time to expose it for 'whatever' it really is!

Expressing hate for minorities, be they black people, Slovenians, or Jews, early attempts at installing a fascist regime are always consistent.
The 'downtrodden' people's feelings are directed at the country's minorities as being the reason why their country is leaving the ordinary working person in poverty.

If either Trump, or the Republican party on behalf of Trump are going to make another attempt against America's democracy, the people will have to be clearly directed to seeing that some minority or minorities are to blame.

Americans will see huge increases in racism and gun related violence to compliment the violence as the time for the fascist attempted takeover draws nearer.

Are ordinary Americans hurting enough yet to justify in their minds more drastic measures be taken to stop black people from gaining anything resembling equality?

That which was possible to turn the people of 1930's Germany may not be any worse situation for them than it is for Americans today.

Were Germans or Italians less educated and less sophisticated then today's American people?
Just the opposite seems to be true.

The tone of the extremists posting on this forum is revealing, although it might be argued that they don't represent very many Americans.

First, we have to be able to understand each other's position on whether Covid is a fake virus or a killer virus released on the world by China. Two choices for you. You really do have to choose if you don't want to look like a frustrated child spewing hate and racism. Is it possible to choose? is it possible for a Jackass to not love his own bray the most?

My choice is a third one because I think it's just one of many viruses or even plagues that have originated in many different countries, including from the US. That's because some of the new strains are originating in the US and being passed on to other countries. Lucky for other countries they have the sense to turn what could be into nothing more than a less virile strain of the flu. For instance, China limited it's deaths to Covid to about 5000 people.

Unfortunately for Canada, we were only able to limit the deaths to about half of the US's, per captia adjusted.

Bringing out the best in Americans. It's always lurking just below the surface since Trump disappointed his people with his failure to win his election.

Will this sort of behaviour translate into more gun violence and more completely sane active shooters?

I saw the interview in full....You obviously didn't and are lying about it....Thee word "fascist" was never used.

Fuck you, liar.
"The right is going to pick a fascist in 10 to 20 years..."

that which is called "THE LEFT" over the past----~50 years has INCREASINGLY supported fascism

This was said at point 1:02 in the video.

Tucker's response: "That's so well put." and he ended w/"Please come back."

So are you ready to leave the site now for good, or what?

Was the 14th. amendment an attempt to heal the divides of a failed Union? From a Canadian outsider's POV, that's the way I interpret your comments on it.
I have no idea of the original intent- the results speak for themselves- A State- not Individual States- it makes legal that all states have to abide by The federal constitution- I don't know if that was the ideology behind it or not- to heal means to mend- we were set up as Individual States and the Federal Constitution is rules for the federal Government- each state had to agree to it, the contract as some call it, before being annexed into the Union, and have their own set of rules (constitution) for them, whatever state is in question.

In some cases, like the 2nd amendment, the 14th is a good thing- but, as with anything the fed gov't does, there is always a price to pay- in the case of the 14th, *sovereignty went out the window-
In another scenario, there used to be a poster here who posted an immigration argument from the SC, stating inalienable rights are grants and privileges- basically eliminating unalienable rights, which are inherent- big difference. Inalienable makes rights a tangible commodity- they ain't. But, people argue that unalienable rights don't exist- ????? They don't exist physically, which is why they can only be restricted or ignored- they cannot, however, be taken, or given, or passed on or sold, or bought- inalienable rights, according to the courts, are grants and privileges= both can be taken because they were given.

*an aside: sovereignty is a hot button issue with me- because the fed gov't never even considers it until it suits a particular agenda- IOW, they (the fed gov't) tout it for wars abroad and ignore it at home- never mind that the 4th amendment is pretty explicit and has the only caveat in the Bill of Rights- which is an ambiguous- probable cause-

There is an anecdote rarely invoked- the 10th amendment- it is mostly ignored in the Individual states- why? Beats me-

As for the intelligence- IDK anything other than what I see- perhaps intelligence for some is defined differently for others- not reading opposing (and sometimes corroborating) opinions or articles doesn't strike me as being very intelligent- or, even wanting to be- yet almost demanding their take on something is fully informed and the correct one and not about to consider there is more than one way to skin a cat- left or right or you're an idiot - really? Sign me up. I'm neither. I'm an Individual, first and foremost, and I don't subscribe to group (politics or religion) think/dogma- group think doesn't require intelligent, objective, analysis and prefers subjective analysis- which is intellectually dishonest, which is no better than what's being argued against-

You need the violence and a straw horse to beat on.

Totally misquoted. WTF?

You sure hope so....don't you?

You need the violence and a straw horse to beat on.

There are more important issues to deal with than guns and gun murders. The guns are only a part of the approaching turn to fascism in America.

The George Floyd murder by cops on the streets in plain view and the method used could clinch the question. If the cop walks then the law has lost all effectiveness and can then be ignored.

A country that will allow that to happen will just as easily throw a black child in jail for stealing a candy out of the corner store.

Thank you for your contribution from the pro-side. Both sides' POV are valuable to the conversation.

I blame neither.
I turn to Osama's remarks on the reasons why he made 911 happen, and then form logical conclusions from there. That could become a new conversation on a new thread if you care to start one?

Late last week. Tucker Carlson thanked a guest he invited on his show who said that Republicans will vote in a fascist soon, and Tucker's response was along the lines of "very well said" and "I hope you come back."

Eerily similar to Trump's blowing kisses and expressions of love to the Capitol attackers on January 6th.

I know Biden does not believe you actually logged yourself onto the Internet, but can you please provide that quote?

I'll comment briefly on your remarks on your 14th. amendment. Just briefly because I may not be fully interpreting your points. To me your 14th. amendment seems to attempt to deal with some irreconcilable differences between states. It comes off to me as an issue to talk about because the differences were never reconciled in my opinion. In a nutshell, without getting into it too deeply for a foreigner, the union is showing definite signs of failure for that reason. The American south are unable to accept black people as equal American citizens. If you're not getting an acceptable answer out of me, please try again. I assure you I'm not trying to dodge anything.

Of course I have to agree with that in principle, it could be seen as a motherhood issue. But we musn't allow extremism to hide behind motherhood's apron. I'm also saying that I don't quite understand your purpose in telling me all that?

Are you making the 'obvious' plain to me or are you about to claim justification of extremism as you hide behind 'motherhood'. We'll only learn your motives when you get around to talking specifics on left/right agendas in America.

Me being a Canadian is going to allow me to take a moderate position. I hope you can agree with that and respect it. But make it known loud and clear if you consider me to be politically biased.
