Trump tried to preload his excuses for losing the election. He claimed, without any evidence, there would be fraud and that mail-in ballots were the spawn of Satan.

As a result of this, Trump threw a wet blanket on Republican mail-in voting. This panicked Republican apparatchiks and they warned Trump his big mouth was causing Democrats to request mail-in ballots in vastly greater numbers than Republicans.

Since it takes longer to count mail-in ballots than in-person votes, Trump was informed there would be a Red Mirage on Election Night but that the tide would turn when mail-in ballots were counted.

This is why Trump rushed to prematurely declare victory so that the tard herd would swallow his Big Lie later.
