3. The "Golden Dome" is a national security priority since Russia and China have hyper-sonic missiles. Lasers are a lot faster than hyper-sonic-missiles. I'd just protect our missile silos so we could launch if we ever needed to.

The tariff tax, takes place in the USA....in customs. So we the peopke are who pays the tariff with higher retail prices, and we also pay income tax.

The tariff tax won't be paid by the Chinese manufacturer, it will be paid by the U.S. importer and then you, at retail.

The exampled Chinese manufacturer may get hurt later down the road when USA sales on products slow down due to price resistance, and the USA importer of the goods buys less. They buy less, because fewer widgets are sold at the high retail price.

It's a very long road, when the product has no manufacturing plants to make the widgets here in the USA and they would have to be built and assembled from scratch....

This is not a short term process, and higher prices on everything with a tariff is INFLATION that will be permanent.

My main concern is our States, who draw most of their State taxes through their sales tax....when retail sales slow.... due to price resistance...the States could be running shortfalls, and will also have to find another means to tax us.
