Could Ukraine take back Crimea?

Russians are fighting to remove a US proxy on their western border; perhaps Biden should be more careful about which Nazis he shakes hands with in the future?

You really think the average Russian conscript cares?

Ukraine has always been on their border and were not a military threat.

Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for freedom and to repel invaders
Russian soldiers are suffering and don’t care

I think you're ignoring the illegal coup in 2014 that drove a corrupt, yet democratically elected, president from office. Russians who are paying attention know well how much America wants regime change in Moscow, and they will kill as many Ukrainian/NATO proxies as necessary to prevent that.

Ukrainians die fighting for their country

Russians die because Putin told them to
I don't think most of the people in Crimea want to be Ukranian.

That's why the Crimean people overwhelmingly voted to secede from Ukraine in the 2014 referendum.

It wasn't even fucking close.

What was it? Around 80% or 90% of the people in Crimea voted to secede. Something like that.

I agree with you that Russia is suffering from incompetent leadership, but if it had competent leadership, it would have realized this war was unwinnable and there would never have been an invasion.

Russia would have a competent leadership it would have been already in 2000s in EU and NATO
The problem Russia has been run by illiterate former communist idiots

Russian moderated elections are like that

The offensive launched on September 6th and an estimated 5000-10000 Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded in a pyrrhic victory.

"Ihor, a 30-year-old Ukrainian platoon commander, injured his back when the tank he was riding in crashed into a ditch..."

"'We lost five people for every one they did,' said Ihor, a 30-year-old platoon commander who injured his back when the tank he was riding in crashed into a ditch.

"Ihor had no military experience before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.

"He made a living selling animal feed to pig and cow farms.

"His replacement as platoon commander also has no previous military experience, he said."

Stories the Russians left behind as they ran away from the AFU.

If Ukraine thinks it can take Crimea, the Crimeans will slaughter them.

Wrong, Russians are fighting so Putin can have a bigger backyard. No pay, no food, no body armor, no bullets, no socks necessary.

I think Ukraine can take parts of Russia, if not for the threat of nuclear weapons, but it'll never go that far, so taking back crimea is probably a given.

How did the Russians manage to occupy 20% of Ukraine by using only 1/5 of their military ground force?

Any thoughts on how Ukraine will survive the winter without fuel and electricity?

Zelensky was considered a puppet???

Where will Ukraine get the manpower to invade Crimea?

"About 100,000 Russian soldiers have been killed and wounded since the invasion of Ukraine, and Kyiv’s armed forces 'probably' suffered a similar level of casualties, the top US general says."

"General Mark Milley’s remarks on Wednesday offer the highest US estimate of casualties to date in the nearly nine-month-old conflict, and came as Ukraine and Russia face a potential winter lull in fighting that analysts say could offer an opportunity for some kind of negotiations."

And how many civilians?

There is nothing to negotiate. The fighting stops when Russia has withdrawn from all of Ukraine, and then the negotiations can begin to see what it will take for the sanctions to be eased and for Russia to be allowed to trade with the West again.
