Could Ukraine take back Crimea?

if the war continues could this American General be right in his prediction?

"Where will Ukraine find the trained manpower to survive the winter against hundreds of thousands of Russians?

The Ukrainian Conflict in Numbers: Manpower

"The Kiev regime started the conflict in February of 2022 with approximately 250,000 strong active duty armed forces, most of them conscripts.

"This was supplemented with a 60,000 strong National Guard (with many Azov NeoNazis among its ranks), 50,000 border troops, and about another 50,000 in the 50 or so discrete far right battalions.

Though the Kiev regime’s initial military forces have since been badly mauled with the Russian MoD claiming to have inflicted an excess of 100, 000 casualties,

"through volunteers, territorial defense (now regularly thrown as cannon fodder into the front), several thousand foreign mercenaries, and a regime policy of mass forced conscription in some 7 waves thus far, with male citizens forbidden from leaving the country, the Kiev regime has substantially increased their military manpower since the Russian intervention began."

You're right. The Russian retreat is just a ruse to draw the AFU all the way to the Russian border and then Russia will have them right where they want them. Only a brilliant strategist like Putin and a deep thinker like yourself are able to discern this plan while the rest of the world has been fooled into thinking Ukraine is winning this war.

The reason for the Russian withdrawal is they cannot supply their troops in Kherson. Russian army failed to make offensive gains in warm weather recently what can they do in winter? The war will be slow in winter

Why don't you explain how Ukraine can win a war when suffering 20,000 casualties a month? Maybe you have an opinion on how Ukraine can win a war against a nuclear power without electricity and heat this winter? Washington's strategy of exploiting a civil war it helped instigate in order to sell F-35 fighter jets to Germany is backfiring, particularly in Europe:

Holding Ground, Losing War - The American Conservative
.
"In Europe, however, Washington’s war with Moscow is more than just an unpleasant subject.

"Germany’s economy is on the brink of collapse.

"German industries and households are starved for energy that grows more expensive with each passing week.

"American investors are concerned because the historical record indicates that Germany’s economic performance is often the harbinger of hard economic times in the U.S.

"More important, social cohesion in European States, especially in France, and Germany, is fragile.

"Berlin’s police force is reportedly drawing up contingency plans to cope with rioting and looting during the winter months if the 'multi-cultural' city’s energy grid collapses.

"Discontent is growing making it quite plausible that governments in Germany, France, and Great Britain will likely follow the path of their colleagues in Stockholm and Rome, who lost or will lose power to right-of-center coalitions."

The war won't slow as much for the side with fuel and electricity. When the ground freezes, Russian tanks will have enough fuel to operate while Ukrainian armor will not.

Russians found it difficult to supply their forces west of the Dnipro River; how likely is it Ukraine will be able to "liberate" territory east of that river?

Neither side will be able to do much in winter. If Russian army tries any armored offensive they will be stopped with heavy losses like they were at Kharkiv and Kiev. Not likely they will try another armored thrust

Moscow ULUS´s war record :- 1856 defeated by Britain and France 1905 defeated by Japan 1917 defeated by Germany 1920 defeated by Poland, Finland, Estonia and all Baltic states 1939 defeated by Finland 1969 defeated by China 1989 defeated by Afghanistan 1989 defeated in the Cold War. 1996 defeated by Chechnya 2022 defeated by Ukraine WW2 won USA/Britain , meanwhile Stalin's officers were shot or sent to the Gulags. Millions went to the Gulags, including Solzhenitsyn Moscow's only victories come from invading smaller countries :- a) Hungary 1956 b) Czechoslovakia 1968 c) Moldova 1992 d) Georgia 2008

You are correct to point out that Putin's last, desperate hope of avoiding total failure and humiliation rests on withholding energy exports to Europe and bomber Ukrainian civilians to the point they will surrender, and while this does cause much pain in the rest of the world, it cannot save the Russian army from defeat and humiliation.

From the first day of the invasion, Russia enjoyed a huge advantage in weaponry, but suffered from spectacularly poor military and political leadership and that is why Russia is losing on all fronts and that is why you are posting such desperate nonsense.

Nine months into Putin's three day war you still haven't figured out that Russia is losing because its military and political leadership is shockingly incompetent. Russian forces have been chronically short of fuel, ammo and food because the AFU has systematically destroyed Russian supply depots and convoys carrying goods to the front lines and the Russians have been unable to stop them. There simply is no rational basis for believing Russia can win on the battlefield.

Carrying out an offence in Melitopol direction, obviously.

How many losses did the Russians suffer at Kharkiv?
How does that number compare to Ukrainian casualties?

Holding Ground, Losing War - The American Conservative

"The Russian command opted to withdraw its small force from the area that is roughly 1 percent of formerly Ukrainian territory (Kharkiv) currently under Russian control.

"However, the price for Kiev’s propaganda victory was high—depending on the source, an estimated 5,000 to 10,000 Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded in a flat, open area that Russian artillery, rockets, and air strikes turned into a killing field."

Ukrainians die fighting for their country

Russians die because Putin told them to
