OK, why are you such a historical know-nothing? The UN forces had driven the North Koreans all the way back to the Yalu River, which is the border with China. That is when the Chinese decided to throw their troops in the mix.Because that's all we wanted to do. That was a political decision to keep Russia out of the war. It was decided to just restore the original border rather than conquer North Korea.
What part of "conventional " war did you not understand? We could, but only if our full might was unleashed, nuclear and all
Yep, and when the UN forces counter-attacked, the decision was to stop at the thirty-eighth parallel, the original border, rather than conquer North Korea, possibly bringing the USSR into the war. The Soviets were already providing the DPRK with supplies, weapons, aircraft, advisors and combat pilots.OK, why are you such a historical know-nothing? The Chinese had made the decision long before that. They had moved over a quarter million troops into North Korea and were waiting for the right opportunity to push them into combat.OK, why are you such a historical know-nothing? That would be silly. Just like in Ukraine our technology knows the location and size of every mobile force, and just like in Ukraine, large forces can be destroy before the can go 50 miles.
We have conventional weapons as accurate and nearly as powerful as the early nuclear bombs dropped on Japan. The side with the more advanced technology……wins. What part of "conventional " war did you not understand?
Plus if you look at their history, they have had zero interest to occupy countries far away. On their borders, yeah, they even tried to occupy Burma I think. You can't compare Liberty Ships to modern ones. The Liberty Ship was a British designed copy of a cheap tramp steamer. It was slow, relied on cheap vertical triple expansion steam engines that a three-year-old could be taught to repair and operate. The original Liberty Ships took far longer to build, the first Liberty Ship, the Patrick Henry took 244 days from keel laying to commissioning. Modern ships are much larger and use highly complicated specialist marine diesels. Chinese shipyards wouldn't survive long enough to build an invasion fleet.
Really? You think those Hondurans and Guatemalans would fight them? Or maybe Nigerians and Haitians.Invading China would be crazy and invading the U.S. would be even crazier
I do not think so at all.
If I am wrong, explain how the US would defeat China in an all out conventional war. Specifically.
Moron anti American asshole. We’d kick the everliving shit out of emI do not think so at all.

There is no such thing as an all out conventional war. It’s either all out war……or not. We should never do an all out war.I do not think so at all.

Exactly…..they just want to beat you with their third world labor industrial base.Plus if you look at their history, they have had zero interest to occupy countries far away. On their borders, yeah, they even tried to occupy Burma I think.
Even the attempted occupation of Japan, that was really Mongolian.
No, everyone knows the UN forces pulled back to the port of Pusan and held there while the US built up for a counter offensive. That landed in North Korea at Inchon. The UN drove the North Koreans all the way to the Yalu while the PLA massed troops in the mountains of North Korea while good old Dougout Doug ignored all the intelligence indicating that. The PLA pushed the UN back into South Korea and after a see-saw series of offensives the UN stabilized the front on the 38th parallel. That choice was made to prevent the Soviets from coming into the war to support the Chinese if the UN forces invaded China. The UN command decided to leave North Korea intact rather than fight an all-out war with both the PRC and USSR.Do you know how stupid that sounds? The UN Forces were in full retreat and all of of sudden decided to stop at the 38th parallel? How ignorant are you?
They ran from India when India told them to get the fuck out of a disputed territory, so do think China can really fight a superpower?I do not think so at all.

I am glad to see you came around to the correct interpretation of events. Most of what you posted is true, but many are just opinions with no basis in fact. truman prevented us from chasing the chinese away...truman was a great democrat, even used nuclear bombs on a nation...naturally tho he loved the communistCheck your history books. We never really defeated the Chinese after they entered the war. They took back all of what is now North Korea and we held them in the vicinity of the 38th parallel.
