Could America defeat an American guerrilla war?

No modern general is tied to their state like Jackson and Lee were.

Back during the Civil War, your state, Virginia, Kentucy was more your nation than the United States was.

Today, that's not the case.

The military swear an oath to defend the Constitution, not the government.

It's not urban vs. rural -- again, family members. Only the super wealthy want us shooting each other so they can go hide and watch it on TV. Less for us, more short term gain for them. I think an American Civil War plays out differently… I think what you end up with is a Three-way conflict between Leftist Revolutionary Group, Right-Wing Revolutionary Gtoups and the Government. Eventually leading to the country breaking up into anywhere from 2-6 separate nations.
