More of the usual fears. The obsession with seeing enemies everywhere had people on the right predicting violence. What happened? Who knows. Maybe the reports coming out of the right will tell us.

Conservatives have taken to social media ahead of former President Donald Trump's rally in the Bronx borough of New York City on Thursday, sending out an "alert" to rally-goers to be wary of "feds" and "Antifa" potentially instigating violence.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, far-right activist Jack Posobiec said, "ALERT ISSUED FOR TRUMP BRONX RALLY" also advising rally-goers to "BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR INFILTRATORS." Posobiec ended his post saying, "FEDS AND ANTIFA WILL DRESS AS TRUMP SUPPORTERS WEARING RED HATS TO ESCALATE AND INSTIGATE VIOLENCE - IDENTIFY AND REPORT THEM."

Should have watched it, was a great time for all.

Nothing you attempt to spin happened.....Get a phucking life.

Bunches of black and Latino democrats there, tired of Biden and the Dem continual BS. Most registered as Repo's....

"Donald Trump Bronx Rally Sparks Fight Between Organizers" :auiqs.jpg:

Organizers are clashing over who initiated and organized Donald Trump's campaign rally and pre-rally in the South Bronx, a largely Democratic neighborhood.

Lattina Brown, a former candidate for New York City Council's 17th District, claims she pitched the idea and spearheaded the pre-rally organization efforts, accusing Gavin Wax, president of the New York Young Republican Club, of depriving her and the other community leaders credit. On Steve Bannon's War Room podcast Wednesday, Wax said he floated the idea for a South Bronx rally to Trump in December.

Small crowd. Lots from outside of the district. :auiqs.jpg:

meaning -- they're not all registered to vote in the South Bronx.

Is it possible Trump will be so popular in NY and especially the South Bronx, that one of his children will run for the congressional seat there?

One never knows. He's so popular there.

There is no requirement for House members to live in the district they represent, though they must be a resident of the state they are representing at the time of their election

The U.S. House of Representatives

"The U.S. House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature."

—The Constitution, Article 1, Section 2

James Madison, a key architect of the Constitution, described the U.S. House of Representatives as a legislative body with “an immediate dependence on, and intimate sympathy with, the people.” From the House’s inception, Representatives have been elected directly by the people. Further, the constitutional requirement that Representatives must stand for election every two years has defined the House as an institution that is responsive to the will of the people and that serves as a forum for their political priorities.

The House is the larger of Congress’s two legislative bodies. Its membership is based on the population of each individual state. By law, its current membership is set at 435 Representatives, plus nonvoting delegates from the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories. The House possesses the sole authority to impeach federal officials and, in the case of indecisive Electoral College results, to elect a president. While revenue and spending bills traditionally originate in the House, the Senate may amend them as with any other piece of legislation.

Criteria for Being a Representative

Must be a minimum of 25 years of age
Must be a citizen for 7 years
Must be a resident of the state represented at the time of election
