Good for him. The radical left Legacy media needs to be thwarted and go under. They continue to plummet in their numbers as far as being a trustworthy institution. They push aside their ethics and integrity all the time do this kind of stuff in the name of their ideology and cause.

We have to call out the lying MSM regularly. Every day they should be assumed to be the failing institution they are until they decide to just report the news.

The Democrats were mostly reprehensible and indefensible in their questioning of Hegseth not caring at all about a strong battle ready military but hitting him with endless leading questions of the 'when did you stop beating your wife' sort. Many were obviously an attempt to get him to respond to something they will later claim as perjury.

I didn't get to listen to every minute of the hearing, but did watch/listen to most of it and I didn't hear any time he took that bait. The guy is incredibly intelligent, articulate, and able to make his case in a compelling way. And he didn't waffle at any time on his intent to do away with the DEI crap the Biden Administration inflicted upon the military but rather return it to its intended warrior ready status.

So far all the Dems have are letters from pundits and ex-woke generals and such opposing Hegseth. It appears most of the rank and file military are okay with the appointment with at least the Navy Seals and several Veteran organizations endorsing him according to NewsNation a few minutes ago.

I really REALLY want the GOP to confirm him.

Budgetary management experience in large organizations would be a plus. So, would experience in management of multi-department large military organizations, even if just a combined arms brigade. He does not appear to have any relevant civilian experience either. I cannot see as he has run anything, even the size of a company, but surely he has, as company command time is a requirement for Major.
