Quit trying to make people give you the answers you would prefer. Condemning communism would be not problem if you jerks would settle on a reasonable definition of what communism is. Communism does not appeal to me at all as a political ideology but knowing it's practically dead as a viable economic philosophy I find nothing there to fear.

The Soviets and other communist regimes were stupidly authoritarian and tried to force an unworkable economic model on a poor people already used to authoritarianism. I'll condemn that. The communist leaders never had any intention of being subject to their own laws. I'll condemn that. In fact I'll condemn about just about everything an avowed communist ever did when they tried to rule. I'll not condemn the current progressive agenda just because you stupidly think it's all the same thing.

The current progressive agenda doesn’t have to be communism in order to still be a total fucking disaster. There are plenty of ways to fail and the Democrats are sure trying their hardest to find them all.

The problem I see is that people tend to confuse communism, an economic theory, with authoritarianism, a political theory. I don't know anyone on the Left that does not condemn authoritarianism. Communism, like socialism and capitalism has its place in our society and, though the Right will never acknowledge it, they love it.

The problem is that you do not understand what communism is.

Communism is just as much an authoritarian political theory as it is an economic theory.
