Is there a story where even ONE AMERICAN of any color (I mean blacks are so persecuted here despite over 40,000 black millionaires in the US) escaped to Cuba other than that one negro female who fled there after killing a cop?

Why wasn't there any cases of anyone breaking into East Germany to live there when the Stassi controlled everything you did?

You talked to a person? So did I. My family. 3 members of which were executed in Cuba. It wasn't for murdering anyone. It was expressing their views.

Stalinist dictatorships are not like the Soviet Union under Khrushchev & Brezhnev. There was plenty wrong with the Soviet Union, for example: lack of economic competition promoting technological innovation.

For whatever brutality has been committed by the radical communist revolutionaries and dictators, the governments they replaced were at least as bad or worse. If anyone is to blame for Communist Revolutions, it's the fascist dictators that precede the revolutions.

BTW - During the 1970 there were plenty of defections from the U.S. to Cuba. Airliners were being hijacked to Cuba every week.

Several Americas defected to North Korea. God knows how many defected to China. So one wonders if Communism is really so bad or if it's the application of Communist philosophy from one nation to another that makes it good or bad .... just as we have been trying to point out from the very start of this dialogue.

And then there is Capitalism. Any guesses on how many Americas have fled the US to live in Socialist-Democratic nations of Europe? An astronomical number I can assure you.

Demand will ALWAYS at some point exceed what is produced, you cannot hide what the Soviet Union did to try and make ends meet. Millions of dead Ukrainians, Chinese and Cambodians can attest to that.

My wife grew up in the Soviet Union. She had a happy childhood.

She'd definitely preferred life in the Soviet Union to life in the U.S.A.

In the Soviet Union everyone had:

Free Childcare
A Job
Free Education
Free housing
Free medical care
Free education
Guaranteed pensions
Long maternal leaves
Good quality, safe public transportation.

They had a limited variety of foods, but there was never any food shortages.

EVERYONE worked. No blood sucking non-productive capitalist hording all the wealth.

In short, everyone had security. No one had to worry about being laid off and losing everything they spent their lives working for.

And that is why she didn't move back lol. Why did she move to begin with. lol

They really do think we're in the midst of a communist takeover, that the Chinese tanks are going to be rolling down their street at any moment. They'll lose everything, they'll end up in concentration camps, their loved ones will suffer.

Then, they are conditioned to disbelieve facts from any source that is not approved in their universe, so you can't just point at something and say LOOK. LOOK AT THIS. So their paranoia just grows and grows and multiplies on itself, because it's the only input they will "trust".
