CIA chieftains were caught off guard by the spiraling Islamic violence in postwar Libya, suddenly realizing that analysts had never brainstormed what the country would look like and that the White House had not asked.

The agency also acknowledged in a classified report that Moammar Gadhafi, Libya’s U.S.-deposed dictator, had long suppressed a variety of radical Islamic groups, including al Qaeda, from taking root in his country and endangering North Africa.

Today, absent Gadhafi’s iron fist since October 2011, Libya is in a civil war and has become a coveted destination for Islamic extremists, including the Islamic State in and around Benghazi. Based in Syria and Iraq, the Islamic State boasts its largest franchise in Libya, where it wants to destabilize a fledgling democratic government in the capital of Tripoli and export terrorism. President Obama, who approved the intervention, has called Libya a “mess.”

I wasn't caught off guard by the power vacuum left in the wake of Gaddafi's murder. I immediately drew parallels between his death and that of Saddam Hussein. It didn't take an Einstein to figure out what the outcome would be. The question is WHY? Why was it important to take Gaddafi out on Obama's watch? NATO forces did most of the dirty work but what happened in 2011 to prompt such drastic actions?

Some of Hillary's e-mails provided one clue:

The NATO overthrow was not for the protection of the people, but instead it was to thwart Gaddafi’s attempt to create a gold-backed African currency to compete with the Western central banking monopoly.

Gaddafi made it known that he was trying to unite Africa and it's resources. Obviously, that initiative was enough to spur the West to get him out of the way through NATO. and they enlisted Obama to help do it. That is the one thing that peeves me about the president. He is complicit in setting Africa back a hundred years.

I have indicted Hilary and Obama in the conspiracy to thwart Gaddafi's efforts to build a United Africa and to install an African National Bank backed by gold. Republicans were also at work behind the scenes pushing political buttons to get the job done. They were also happy to see Gaddafi dead.

There is no evidence to support your claim. Hunches don't count especially when Obama did get involved…although he probably knew it would destroy African aspirations to unite and break free of
Europe's post colonial expansion in Africa. Perhaps one day Obama will reveal the reasons he did what he did to help topple Gaddafi. And in light of the revelation in Hillary's e-mails, he can't hide behinds that sordid description of Gaddafi as a brutal dictator that needed to be put down like a rabid dog.
