China getting into CARRIER business!!!

China stepped into the next phase in her naval capabilities, aircraft CARRIERS...

Certainly nobody else can challenge the US Navy capabilities, but there seems to be some effort in that direction...

The fleet capacity requirements for this type of carrier is short water close shore, which is perfectly fitted for the South China Sea.

The dynamics for carrier building would need to be significantly alter for major ocean operations thousands of miles from China.

You know, I don't think that any country can match the USA when it comes to naval power. Why? Because we have 11 carriers that can go anywhere in the world, bringing a piece of sovereign military property with over 90 aircraft and a hell of a lot of firepower.

Besides................the USA still has the best carrier launch system of any country. They use ramps, we use steam catapults, soon to be electromagnetic catapults when the next carrier is built.
