A speech by Patton. Cool!

Just found this. Patton was not a bombastic weirdo.

He was instead very modest. He even said "I realise you are not applauding me, but the men of the third army"

Patton was smart.

I read Alan Axelrods book on Patton, as well as his book on General Omar Bradley.

Bradley would not smile for pictures, he had wood teeth if I remember correctly.

Patton was a Soldier and not a politician, and he was rich. He looked out for the Soldiers in his own way. His standing order was complete the mission - take the objective.

Nothing better on a cold winters night than a good dinner with beer, while sitting on the couch, and watching the movie "Patton."
