Russia's national GDP is sometimes lower than large cities from different countries. Unless they're going to start a nuclear war they can't fuck with China.

There is no way they will initiate trouble with China but they have gone at it before.

A interesting factoid regarding the sino-soviet split in the sixties is that Russia wanted us to team up with them and knock out the Chinese nuclear facilities.

Unfortunately, we refused to go along with them.

The only reason Russia sucks up to the Chi-Coms now is that they cannot trust us to support them if China attacks them.

The Russians more than any other nation understands full well what the Chi-Coms are capable of.

But like Stalin who tried his best to be friends with Hitler Putin is doing the same thing now with the Chi-Coms.
