China accuses U.S. of Human Rights Violations by Police

The defense rests....

We're all willing participants in Chinese mass slavery and genocide. We can't live without our expensive sneakers, cellular phones, watches and other Chinese slave made products. The thing is this: 99% of American consumers don't give fuck one about the dead and dying in some far off, storied land—unless their new smart gadget's release date gets cancelled.

It was just a matter of time before the U.S. got legitimately called on the carpet in this manner.
It's not legitimate if the people calling us out are actively committing genocide. Although BLM and other pro-commie groups will cease on it for some attention.

We can't agree with ANYTHING China says. Now that definitely sounds like communism.

Apparently they hit the mark with you. If China says the sky is blue we can agree, but not on matters of raw hypocrisy designed to influence people to their opinion while ignoring their actions.

Not when it is a gotcha statement. That's communistic.

If it influences people to their opinion, the U.S. should take that into consideration in curtailing police abuse. How many people do you think this will influence?

Is it a gotcha statement? I think not. Smart money is to take everything coming out of China with a grain of salt.

You're just as likely to influence people to China's side by fanatically denying the obvious as the other way around.
Not really, China has a vested interest here, they don't do these things without purpose. If their grievances were legitimate other countries would be echoing them.

What "other countries" are you talking about? There are very few countries in a position to seriously criticize the U.S. like that. I can't think of a single one that has, other than countries like Iran for example.

If there was legitimacy to China's claims wouldn't civilized Western countries jump all over it?

So you're saying Western countries can weigh in on our domestic affairs. When has that EVER happened?
If China had a legitimate human rights point, wouldn't morality alone push Western countries to agree? Then again, the West stood by as Trudeau went all fascist on innocent Canadian, so perhaps you have a point. China is now the moral compass of the world. At least when Democrats control the White House.

If it will make you happy, let's just say then that what China said was legitimate upon face value.
