Cheney is still a republican. She would vote for every tax cut for the rich, gut any labor law, take the side of big business against any number of Americans, roll back any environmental regulation and support a war anywhere.

We have two choices. Multiple potential views in each. Democratic Party is near pure Progressive Socialist and moves left every election cycle. No matter what the views are those who vote for them. Republican party is Left Wing for the Party and Moderate dominated with very little conservatism. Yet Conservatism is always spouted by near all ways. Trump was a populist whose agendas were spewed by both parties over the last couple of decades. Repub voters have moved on from endless wars. With Afghanistan we are arguing the clean up of the United States being World Policeman.

Why we dropped out is still a mystery. And then he ran in 1996.

You can bet if Repubs come back to power, and they try to remove some of the massive spending packages in bills Progs will and have passed, that some McCain types will show up to deny the attempt when the vote happens.
