Wrote this one a few years back

Cleansing the spirit, lifting the soul,
shadows once-darkened intellect,
mistakes no longer doomed to repeat.
Decision now my own....chasing away old demons

Fears that once clouded judgement,
dissolved as vapors, clarity of mind
and purpose, focus razor sharp
Destiny created through me from powers on high...
Chasing away old demons

Thoughts no longer play tricks
Maddening endless contemplation of deeds
Time to move forward and savor precious life as it is
as it is meant to be, moment by moment in the here and now...
