Medicare drops certain
coverages every year.... MA picks it up.

Those wonderful countries with single payer are in doing the same thing to save money, UK, Canada for instance.

Government's can't afford it and spin off the coverage back to the people.

A few instances where the MAPD plan reverts back to Medicare A or B would be hospice care and maybe some injections in hospital and could be a couple of outpatient.

It doesn't replace Medicare, it still bills Medicare for covered services.
You don't have to carry your Medicare card is all.
Medicare advantage covers services not covered or you'd be paying out of pocket.
