CEO of United Healthcare Killed by Gunman

CEO Brian Thompson had a "criminal" record and was living in a separate house from his wife

The slain UnitedHealthcare CEO had a criminal record for drunk driving and was secretly separated from his wife for years before he was shot dead in Manhattan on Wednesday, according to public records.

Minnesota court filings show that in 2017 Brian Thompson was arrested and convicted on charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, for which he received probation.

In addition to legal troubles, the executive, who was gunned down in what NYPD has labeled a “premeditated, pre-planned, targeted attack,” also seems to have faced recent marital issues.

Based on property records, voter registration forms, and reports from neighbors, Brian and Paulette Thompson had lived in different homes less than a mile apart in Maple Grove, Minnesota, for the past several years.

The Wall Street Journal reported. In 2018, Thompson bought a five-bedroom second house for around $1 million, while his wife’s residence remained in another house nearby, also worth about $1 million, based on Zillow listings and public records.

Paulette Thompson told MSNBC her husband had received threats related to his company’s “lack of coverage” and said in a statement to a local Fox affiliate in Minnesota that his killing had left her and their two sons “shattered.”

About 12 hours after his killing, someone made a bomb threat at his Minnesota home, but authorities did not find any evidence of explosives, TMZ reported.

UnitedHealthcare and the Hennepin County District Court did not immediately respond to a Daily Beast inquiry about Thompson’s DUI.

I just read that he did have a pre-existing condition.

Greed.

It’s likely they know his name by now. They know he flew into NY from Atlanta a week earlier, and they have a full face photo of him. Certainly someone in Atlanta knows who he is and reported it by now.

Now they have to find him.

Amazing how fast law enforcement is zeroing in on the murderer. Yet they still can’t find the murders of Seth Rich, Epstein, and so many others.

There is an obvious reason.

Why is there a huge nationwide manhunt for this killer, but not for Seth Rich’s killer?

So weird….huh?

If it's the same guy, which I doubt.

His jacket is clearly different, and the backpack was black, not tan.

The fingerprint on the water bottle was too smudged to be of any value, according to the NYT.
Hostel video cam. They've traced the bus from Atlanta....sure there's more video.

So a guy with a similar jacket stayed at a Hostel.

I'm not sure that is evidence.
Reversible?
Planned on using two jackets?
Changing ones clothes isn't unheard of when committing a crime.

Epstein killed himself.

Seth Rich wasn't murdered in front of a camera.
Mysteriously the cameras were not working when Epstein was murdered.

Are you saying law enforcement needs cameras of Rich’s murder to find the murderer? Lol.

If you had a brain, you might think better.

And Billy Barr supplied the explanations.

Maybe this guy is also the person who assassinated SETH RICH!

I should point out that a couple of weeks ago, I had an incident where some asshole keyed my car. I didn't see it but my wife did. She whipped out her camera and got a picture of a car, but she wasn't sure if it was the right car.

We reported the incident to the cops, who looked into the car she did get a picture of. Wasn't the right car. The cop was able to find video of the keying incident from another camera, but no clear view of the license plate.

So what you got is a picture of a similar looking guy with a different jacket and different backpack who stayed at a Hostel miles away under a fake ID.

That's not exactly iron-clad evidence.

What makes it worse is that there were people who said that things would happen with Epstein.

Do they have cameras in every cell?

Yes, I am saying that they need SOME kind of evidence to find RIch's murderer, and none ever came up.

Law enforcement stated that the conspiracy theories were unfounded,[5][6] while fact-checking websites like PolitiFact.com,[6][9] Snopes.com,[10] and FactCheck.org[5] came to the conclusion that the theories were false and baseless.

The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia described the murder as related to a bungled attempted robbery,[5] and said "the assertions put forward by Mr. Wheeler are unfounded."[5] Assistant Police Chief Peter Newsham said the police had no information suggesting a connection between Rich's death and data obtained by WikiLeaks,[31] and MPD officers considered the murder to be the result of a botched robbery attempt.[9] A spokesman for the Washington, D.C., mayor's office, who said, "All claims made by Mr. Wheeler are false and take fake news to a whole new level. The family deserves better and everyday MPD continues to work diligently to solve this case."[10]

People who worked with Rich said he didn't have access to the emails on the DNC server and was not an expert computer hacker helping to leak information to foreigners. Andrew Therriault, a data scientist who had mentored Rich, said although he had recently been working as a programmer, he did not have a programming background; another co-worker said Rich was very upset when he heard hackers associated with Russian intelligence services had broken into the DNC computers and could be interfering with the election.[44]

Conspiracy theories falsely claimed that the FBI was investigating the case; in fact, the DC's MPD investigated the murder, and the FBI was not involved.[5][9][10]

Newt Gingrich promoted the conspiracy theory of a tie between Rich and Wikileaks, claiming that Rich "apparently was assassinated" subsequent to "having given WikiLeaks something like ... 53,000 [DNC] emails and 17,000 attachments".[5] No evidence supported Gingrich's false and baseless claim,[5][6][10] and there was no evidence of any link between Rich and Wikileaks.[9]

The fabrications were described as fake news and falsehoods by The New York Times.[11] The New York Times cited the conspiracy theories as an example of the persistence of false claims, concluding: "fake news dies hard".[11] The Los Angeles Times called the conspiracy theories "unsubstantiated rumors".[12]

The Washington Post cited the conspiracy theories as an example of the power of fake news to spread virally online.[13] The paper used the example as a case study of the persistence of fake news, and found that television news media can be a soft target for such false stories.[13] The Washington Post further found that the proliferation of fake news via Facebook had decreased, but remained powerful on Twitter due to spread via online bots.[13] They found that the conspiracy theories with the largest potential to spread on the Internet were those that held attraction for both the alt-right movements and the political left wing.[13] The Washington Post concluded that even if a particular false story had been sufficiently debunked, such fact-checking was unable to stop the spread of the falsehoods online.
