I also remember that when this thing first came out, people were saying to disinfect stuff you buy, but masks aren't really required. Then, a group of people got together for choir practice, and most of them came down with the virus. That is when doctors and scientists finally figured out that it was an airborne virus and that masks should be worn.

I'm guessing there are going to be other things about this virus that will come out as this goes on.

Give the same benefit of the doubt to Trump? No. Why? Because he's not a doctor, and he refuses to accept anything that doesn't support his narrative. The doctors and scientists have actual knowledge about what they are doing, and will adjust accordingly as new things are found out.

In the military, one of the things you learn to do is adjust and adapt for changing situations. Apparently, Trump doesn't have that capability.

I'd be very happy to have a new president who'd task Frieden and Gottlieb to reorganize CDC and possibly find a way to non-partisan and non-payola grant money on specific research to private labs. One thing we definitely learned about ten years ago is that big pharma doesn't make much on new antibiotics or vaccines
