Yeah, Trump dried up he money supply by sucking it up his fat gut, no really Trump dumped a shitload of dough and dropped interest to one percent nd you think that helped!? How myopic of your misunderstanding of history?

It's really not that hard to understand inflation

Economics 101 is the more dollars you print the less those dollars are worth.

It's like anything else, the more gold bars you create the less they are worth.

Additionally, the world response to Covid created huge shortages with everything, causing less of everything, causing higher prices for everything.

Then you have the war on fossil fuels, which is intimately intertwined into all aspects of the economy. Making fossil fuels less abundant causes it to go up in price, causing everything to go up along with it. Just walk into a store to figure that out.

What do you see in a grocery store?

1. Everything is wrapped in plastic. Fossil fuels
2. How did it get there? Trucks and fossil fuels
3. How did the food grow? Fertilizer and fossil fuels
4. The grocery has heating and cooling. Again, fossil fuels.

The sad part is, all of this is caused by government policy.

This is a school desk in which to hide in case of a school shooting. It is made of bulletproof material and has a lockable compartment.

Capitalism does not solve social problems; it creates them. But it stubbornly tries to solve the consequences of the problems it creates, earning a profit along the way.

At this time we have reached the end of:

Cheap money (rates up)
Cheap energy (Russia)
Cheap labor (China)

And the end of cheap solutions (QE)
Why?

You can’t fix inflation by printing more money....
