You are not being honest now. I asked you who said homosexuality is a sin and I also asked you who told you homosexuality is a sin ..... and you replied it was Jesus (who said it). Why are you not telling me the truth? We can continuing being friendly/respectful and tell each other the truth or we can continuing being friendly/respectful but lie to each other or we can discontinue this dialogue altogether. Which one do you want to do? Unfortunately, you have already lied to me once. That's not very nice. But I'll forgive you. Let's forget that and start all over again. :26:

Where's the lie? Leviticus 18:22 condemns homosexuality.

Leviticus is the 3rd book of Moses - aka OT - therefore nothing to do with what Jesus might have said or thought.
And factually not written by Moses - but by loads of Jewish scribblers from 650 BCE to 250 BCE. - who never met God, nor Moses.

Therefore you got no "proof" at all - only your "belief".

PRETENDING you don't know the difference between hearing/witnessing God or Jesus' words, and reading second/third/fourth rumours is your second lie. You have only one chance left to support your statement that homosexuality is a sin. What's it going to be? More lies? Or honesty? Anyone else reading this want to guess what it will be? :eusa_boohoo:

By way of COMPLETE DISHONESTY [and superstitious balderdash] he is saying that Jesus is God, and a ghost, and Leviticus. :45:

Well since some Jews or then Christians came up with the bull story of a "Holy Trinity" - what else could you expect from an obedient sheeple?

I am too lazy now to look it up - but in some OT or Torah text - they even describe two fellows having a good time.

And then there is the prohibition of yichud, (seclusion of two individuals together in a manner that would allow them to have sex). The Talmud records a debate over whether yichud applies to any two men. Maimonides, Tur, and Shulchan Aruch rule leniently that yichud of two men is permitted, because "Jews are not suspected of homosexual sex". :auiqs.jpg:oh boy - "religion"

Nothing requiring sense or logic.

Too complicated for me.
"Jews are not suspected of homosexual sex".
What about the Transvestite, Israeli winner of the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest?
oh boy - "religion"
Yes, "oh boy"! :cuckoo:

Well, he...ah...she is not married (yet) - see article from April 2025.

So those religious radical Zionists are raising hell about her, "burn baby burn", but wait..... the best part comes:
Judaism only has, Gehinnom, a fast-lane "soul-cleansing" treatment, and no purgatory - so he/she will go straight to the world to come. :twirl:,so as a he or a she? :auiqs.jpg:another classic one for religious discussions. :smoke:

I honestly don't have a clue what you're talking about. I just made a simple mistake of where it was in the Bible.

That's a rather surprising response from you since you're a Christian as well. I just don't believe that God makes mistakes and He definitely condemns homosexuality.
Then why did He create it?

Yep, another example of environmental conditions influencing sexuality. No one is born gay.
100% false homosexuality is genetic. Twin studies confirm the genetic cause. Identical twins are both gay 53% of the time, fraternal twins 43, non twin siblings 23%. The pattern shows a definite genetic predisposition.
Experiences during development must switch it on but the gene must be present.
Its also a normal aspect of human sexuality and cant be proven other wise. Youre invited to try

True as that's called free will, but a sin is still a sin.
Its only a sin for you. Your morals cant apply to anyone else.

I've stayed out of this thread because I really don't have the answer. I think it's probably a combination of environment (domineering mothers in many cases) and genes but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.
I know it's pretty prevalent, whatever causes it.
