Now all they have to do is sit back and wait for all the conservative folk to die off and the country and let the younger generation take over coupled with illegal immigrants and we will all be united into one size fits all group think tank. It will be utopia!!

Fortunately, "the younger generation" will get older, and some will get wiser (much wisdom revealed via rising tax rates, no doubt). Many of today's immigrants (even the illegal ones) come from fundamentally conservative cultures. The process of assimilation will clarify a few things they (or more likely their forebears) may not fully appreciate upon first arrival.

We'll be ok.

But statistics don't agree with this. Most immigrants come from collectivists states. They know nothing but this mentality and anything else seems foreign to them. Look at any poll and see how immigrants line up to vote for Obama and his cronies.

As for kids becoming smarter, most I talk to don't even know what socialism is, let alone thinking it is a "bad" term that it once was.

The transformation has become complete. There are no stones that have not been overturned. No one escapes this time.

Case in point, during the 1960's you had a younger generation that rebelled against the powers that be. They rallied against the establishment and the wars abroad. However, today you have young people lining up in droves to support President Obama even with wars abroad.

Can avowed communists, socialists, Marxists, strict Muslims, Christians and freedom-loving capitalists live in the same country and all be happy about the laws? I doubt it.

Diversity isn't working well because too many want things their way or the highway and when they get voted in, they take the country in the direction they want and could care less about freedom, liberty or the constitution.

No one should ever be allowed to go against the constitution because once it's allowed a dangerous precedent is set.

Maybe someday we will be the divided states. Some can live where there is still capitalism and freedom, some can choose communism or socialism and some can choose to live under sharia law.
