Can somebody help me with curing tinnitus and bulging discs in my back? Or give me hope with some information for the future in healthcare for these issues?! I'm SO depressed at age of 42 that I have tinnitus and FOUR bulging discs in my back after having surgery (successfully I might add) for a herniated disc. I have to do eight specific stretches every day and after doing all of them five times each (some are for each leg) it ends up being SIXTY fucking sets! It takes FOREVER. This is truly a nightmare. I wanted so desperately to live a long healthy life. Now there seems to be not even anything on the horizon with fixing these problems for me. (And other people.)

I have spinal stenosis, disc degenerative disease along with bulging and herniated disc...After years of different treatments and lots of drugs I found that the shots of cortisone help the most with inflamation. You could try a tens unit for a non-drug treatment. But no, it never heals and gets better...

Oh dude, Chinese nerve manipulation and an inverter table.
I can't say anything about Tinnitus, but I know about the back thing.
I hurt my back pushing up something that weighed 340 lbs..wow..no wonder..Derp! overhead.
This is the 1st time I ever calculated how much weight it was. I have no pain, whatever she did felt like a steel cone jabbing into my back, but she fixed it to where no pain ever after.

The tinnitus some say it is from earwax buildup. Try an ear cleaning product. Mine started this year after having the flu which was more like COVID in December. Tinnitus comes from nerve damage...

Amitriptyline can be effective and keeping your ears wax free. My ex wife has Tinnitus....reducing alcohol consumption helps too....but who wants to do that?...

Seriously, some of those Chinese people know nerves and are quite affordable.
Cost of a higher-end doctor visit fix ya right up.

And caffeine makes it worse, but again, ditto.

I've had tinnitus for so long I don't even think about it unless somebody brings it up.

I have tinnitus. It comes and goes. I got a white noise machine at the drug store. That helps. Sometimes nothing helps. At the same drug store I got a tens unit for back pain. That does help.

My neighbor has a Pomeranian with degenerative disc diease. For what it's worth, the veterinarian prescribed CBD oil. My neighbor said it made her Pom into a new dog.

Have had the tinnitus thing a long time. Always thought it lifestyle and occupational related to high noise occupational environments and demon rock music! I usually can ignore it.

Get a Teeter inversion table. I have used one for over 12 years when I started having back trouble around age 50. I'm now 62 and have not had any back pain at all and take no meds.

Thank you all for your responses! I am so thankful to be in a friendly environment!

Ummm, where to begin in response...well, I have had my ears cleaned though there was some weird confusion with that but they have been cleaned. I also have always been careful with volume of sound/noise all my life though there were certainly a handful of concerts over the decades that were WAY too loud. I think this happened from the stress of when the COVID-19 pandemic was starting in early March of this year (2020). At least according the wonderful world of the internet from what all I can figure as opposed to something loud happening.

My father also has an inversion table but I am too damn scared to use it. We shall see if I ever do.

Gipper I have heard such a thing concerning medications (I am trying to wean myself off of Ambien and Gabepentin. I also have to take Metformin.)

I have also realized I should probably have posted this in the Health Section...sorry.

I'll still take any more information about what anyone finds out about what might happen in the future with healthcare fixing these issues as I am really sad about all of this. Sigh.

Have you been seeing a chiropractor for your back? He or she SHOULD be able to offer you some kind of help. You may want to think about taking a painkiller for your back if you're not already doing so. And you may want to consult an ear, nose and throat specialist for your tinnitus, if you haven't already done this.
