I wrote this back in 2017 when Trump was first elected:

Seriously, I'm in my own little nightmare scenario right now. Trump horrifies me, his presidency has been even worse than I feared (and yeah, we can agree to disagree on that). But look at what could happen here - if he completely screws up, the Democratic party will have neither the time nor the inclination to fix itself. The nuts who have so damaged the party will be able to jump right back in and yank the country to the far left.

Yes.

Most Americans want a government that is there but isn’t constantly in their faces. MAGA supposedly was going to give us that. Instead the leader of the movement has plastered his face on passports, government buildings, national parks passes, etc...

Few who bought in won’t admit that they have been had

Ummmmm....
I think this OP is living in some sort of delusion....

Like they need to lay off the hallucinogenic stuff for a few years....

We MAGA supporters are very happy that Trump followed thru with most of his promises, and added them to his accomplishments. You democrats may not like most of them, but we do.

A failure for who? For Benedict Donald, the Great Con Man of our times, it has been a tremendous success. There are a few disillusioned MAGANUTS who realize how he used a Populus message to get their vote, then ignore them and continued to favor the elitists, Epstein Class over the working men and women of the country. Most of them still follow the Royalist "Benedict Donald" and the New Republican party.

You’re happy paying 50% more for gas for no reason...so you’re pretting irrational.

It is yet to be determined though Trump is not nearly as popular as he was in his first term.

He could revive Americas global might, or, he could leave office weakening America more than any president before him while watching China wave as they drive by.

There is still 2.5 years left to determine his legacy. One of for the people or one of for the global socialist elite, China-First weaklings who will sell America out.
