The left has made it very clear that if you love your country, you are a Nazi. They view nationalism as inherently dangerous. Are progressives the first party to openly dislike their country? I know the left posters will say they love the country, but how do they get around the Nazi Paradox? Why can they love the country, but no one else can? Of all the bizarre things the left is doing, I think it is understated how much they view people who love the country as dangerous.
You have to understand the nature of a collectivist.
In fact, what is a collectivist? It is someone who wishes to centralize power to a very few or one.
We see this with Nazism, Communism, Socialism, and Progressivism.
Progressives began their journey around the 20th century in the US, so what did they first do? They increased the size and scope of the Federal government, taking power and rights from the states. They added a US Federal Income tax to the Constitution after the US Supreme Court ruled it was Unconstitutional a decade before and created their own private bank during the Wilson administration. This centralized power.
And over the years it has just gotten worse and worse to the point that the US Federal government now controls every aspect of our lives. Now the President decides everything from what doctor we can see to how they will treat us to what teacher will teach our children and what they will teach. So, in a way, Progressive like FDR and Wilson embraced patriotism in the country with the goal of using it to centralize power in the US.
So now that Progressives have accomplished their goal of centralizing power in the US via the Federal government, what is next?
What is next is to centralize power globally. So now Nationalism and patriotism stand in their way.
A one world government is the agenda of every collectivist on earth and has remained so since the earliest despot tried to take over the world.
It's only a matter of time I reckon.
