Here is how to understand Mac, folks.

Do you remember back in 2015 when he was all about "regressives". He used the term then as often as he does "Trumpsters" now. At that time, who was most threatened by the so-called progressive wing of the Democrat party as represented by Bernie Sanders? Yep, Hillary and the Swamp establishment.

Curiously, all mention of "regressives" disappeared as if by magic in 2016, when he switched to "Trumpster" as his go-to epithet. Do you think that was a coincidence that he simply moved on to the current threat to the swamp establishment?

Now that the Swamp is firmly in control, he is still all about "Trumpsters", but should a new threat arise to the establishment, you can be sure that a new epithet will be created. For today, he is in complete solidarity with all the double digit useful idiots he once decried as all his blather about being independent in any fashion is just to distract people away from the DNC mission that drives his posts.
