For example there is a book called "First into Nagasaki" (2006 Crown Publishers) by Pulitzer Prize correspondent George Weller. Weller conned his way into Nagasaki shortly after the Japanese surrender and wrote several dispatches about the Atomic devistation as well as interviews with former Allied and American POW's. Weller thought his dispatches were being published but General MacArthur spiked them all. Weller's son discovered the carbons after his death and published them.
