Well, if you looked at my links, 21 states extend electioneering laws to include ANY form of political material. That is the state law, so it is not illegal.
And if that guy was in one of those 21 states, then those women were within their rights to stop him, but they should have allowed him to leave his cap in his car and come back in and vote.
Some states will not allow electioneering but will allow you to wear MAGA gear and stuff.
