The only thing that has law behind it is what as known as electioneering . Liberals once again are stating “law” when they know not what they speak of. Electioneering involves approaching someone to give them papers or state your case as to why you should vote for their guy. That can get aggressive and confrontational so it’s unlawful .

In 2016 when I went to vote for Trump in that year's Primary, they would not let me vote neither. Their reason?
I was registered as an Independent Republican and not just a Republican.
I was told by the DMV that as an Independent Republican, I would still have all voting rights as a republican.

At least in Maryland the electioneering advocates cannot be any closer than 50 feet from the main entrance.
