The key term here is ESCALATION. When dealing with the public, LEOs should not ESCALATE tensions, they need to bring them down a notch.

This is something the Mall Cop rejects of ICE don't seem to get.

She escalated when she tried to run and hit the officer. She should have gotten out of her vehicle when they told her to. None of this would have happened if she had.

Maybe some of us don't think our neighbors should be rounded up because they lack paperwork.

If you were sending ICE after actual rapists and drug dealers, I would be happily cheering them on.

But I can't get worked up over maids and gardeners.

If they are here illegally, they need to be removed. We don't get to pick and choose which laws to obey.

A “glancing blow” sounds like a good way of putting it. I can agree with that.

I previously stated that I think it would have been impossible for her to accidentally kill the officer from that distance and that angle, from a complete stop.

We're talking about a 2-ton mass of metal against maybe 180 - 200 pounds of flesh. It doesn't matter if a strike in that span of distance would have been fatal but knocking him down and running him over would have been and very well could have happened. Again, it was only luck and circumstances that made it a lot less serious than it could have been.

While a lot of things could have happened there, I don’t think an accidental police officer death is in the realm of possibilities.

I absolutely believe it was within the realm of possibilities. But even so, again, hindsight is 20/20.

What did happen is a police officer killed someone that really didn’t need to be killed. To me, that’s the dangerous one here.

And she didn't need to be there antagonizing the officers. Again, her actions precipitated the reaction, flawed as that may have been.

As I said, I wasn’t expecting us to see eye-to-eye on this. There’s some we agree on, and other stuff we don’t agree. Good talking to you about it though. I’m content leaving it there unless you have something further that sparks your interest.

I reckon we can put it to bed. We'll never agree on certain aspects and we've both made our points.

Brown physically attacked a police officer, tried to steal his firearm and was returning to do it again when he was shot after being warned. So, YES I support the shooting of Brown.

A U.S. citizen on her way to a medical appointment in Minneapolis was dragged out of her car and detained by immigration officers, according to a statement released by the woman on Thursday, after a video of her arrest drew millions of views on social media.

Aliya Rahman said she was brought to a detention center where she was denied medical care and lost consciousness. The Department of Homeland Security said she was an agitator who was obstructing ICE agents conducting arrests in the area.

That video is the latest in a deluge of online content that documents an intensifying immigration crackdown across the midwestern city, as thousands of federal agents execute arrests amid protests in what local officials have likened to a “federal invasion.”

An "agitator" or a Woman on her way to a doctor's office, ICE Thugs. Given outrageous conduct on part of ICE Thugs, the murder of Renee Good and other heavy handed tactics the time has come to reign in ICE.

I also agree with the shooting of Michael Brown.

I was using that example to show that they don't need to have a lethal weapon in order for the shooting to be justified. Babbitt didn't have a lethal weapon. Micheal Brown didn't have a lethal weapon. But the danger was still there in both situations.
