Breaking: Woman shot while trying to kill ICE agents in Minnesota

She backed up then accelerated forward toward the ICE agent in front of her car who shot her after she started moving forward. I honestly don't see how under any existing standard this would not be a lawful shooting. I mean I am no fan of Trump or ICE, but the driver seems to have made a really stupid decision that cost her her life. If it makes you feel better though, her gofundme is over half a million and growing.
I grant you, not allowing the first officer to open the door, choosing to escape instead, for what would have undoubtedly been a misdemeanor at that time, was a deadly foolish move. Every single instructional video available by attorneys, will tell you to cooperate, and fight it in court, later, not on the side of the street. It will end badly and sometimes, right there, on the side of the street. You cannot win a confrontation with government forces on the side of the street, right or wrong. Even if armed, and actually being confronted illegally, you really cannot even shoot in self-defense and expect a good outcome. She was like Babbitt in this respect. She really did not consider, they would actually shoot her. If surrounded by government cars, government officers with guns, it is in your short term long term best interests to go along with them. The really, actually might kill you, and it is worth the consideration. In this case, (unlike Babbitt) she will not be up for a Darwin Award for stopping her line down through the gene pool, as I understand, she already has a daughter. I have no idea how that works, as it is said, the woman leaning over her, in the car after her killing, was her wife.

Those show him NOT getting hit and shooting as the car passed. Look. A court will convict him not some dumbass message board posters making shit up. Didnt you think Chauvin was innocent? Shows you have zero ability to evaluate justice outside of political party or race. Youre basically a blind idiot to facts.

Shooting an unarmed activist and protester, ICE is getting way out of hand. Ms. McLaughlin was protesting, which under the United States Constitution was her right, but I'm sure ICE will justify the shooting.
If she was trying to run someone down with her vehicle, she wasn’t exactly “unarmed”

Tuna netting can be dangerous to other fish so don’t swim with tuna

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A federal officer shot and killed a Minneapolis motorist when she allegedly tried to run over law enforcement officers during an immigration crackdown in the city, authorities said Wednesday.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot the woman in her vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Minneapolis, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.

The shooting marks a dramatic escalation of the latest in a series of immigration enforcement operations in major American cities under the Trump administration. It’s at least the fifth person killed in a handful of states since 2024.

Legal protest does not allow impeding traffic---or assaulting law enforcement with a deadly weapon.

Babitt was trying to force her way into Congressional Chambers, shithead.

Oh no!

one unarmed woman with no thousand pound vehicle with her!

She wasn't killed because she was a threat, she was killed because the idiot cop thought it would discourage the others.

Pour encouragement les autres isn't a valid reason for a fatal shoot.

Byrd would have been more within his right to shoot the people actually breaking down the door.

She was a threat and so were the mob of people standing behind her.

Just because you can legally shoot someone, doesn't make it right.
