BREAKING: Thad Cochran Campaign busted for illegal vote buying operation

Did you see a phone number in that photo? Idiot? Anybody can send a text, take a picture of it and call it a smoking gun. You teapers are ******* stupid as dirt.

The sender's name is on the text. The phone included the name by cross referencing it with the phone's contact list. So the phone number is indeed included in the text, DUMBASS.

It is a ******* picture, you idiot. It doesn't mean it is true. It is a ******* PICTURE. I can send the same text to my phone and take a picture...what is to cross reference if I don't give you a picture of that too. The picture of the text PROVES NOTHING.

TEAPER ******* IDIOTS...DUMB ASS LEMMINGS BELIEVING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING FROM A NEWS SOURCE CALLED GOT NEWS. :lmao: You got to be kidding me. I can't believe you guys are this ******* gullible. To not even question the source, the facts presented or the information....OMG. Got News?

 Pathetic Teaper Morons!

In other news, Obama is an alien. See the Enquirer for details.

Yeah, it's just a picture. But if there's an investigation the cops can examine the phone and determine whether it's valid. I personally don't have an opinion as to whether this thing is a scam or not. However, your claim that anyone could have sent the text is bullshit. The police can determine with 100% certainty which phone number sent the text.

The Police can, with the phone in their hands.

We at home, not so much.

Charges or no charges, being arrested in and of itself reflects negatively on anyone, especially if you are an aide to a Senator.

******* moron.

My guess...this is a Tea Party ploy to get the low information, racist Teapers into a hissy so they will start an armed insurrection. Teapers are so ******* ridiculous.

Fielder made the claim that Saleem called him a few times. The phone records will ultimately validate (EDIT: or invalidate) all of this. Police should issue warrants for both of the phones and do searches.

It's quite easy to corroborate, or disprove this story.

Oh, and by the way, dumbass (Bripat). Just as an added bonus...don't you know it is very easy to spoof phone numbers. Hell, there are apps for it!

I think that's almost a complete antithesis of how our justice system is supposed to work.

Getting arrested, then having the charges dropped means the police fucked up, not the arrestee.

It is. Which makes me think this story that much more unbelievable.

If it were true, we'd be hearing about it from a US Attorney's press conference, not a newly-created right wing blog site.

I doubt it will get to that point. Do you really think Saleem would have called him from his personal phone if he were doing something illegal? Do you think he is that stupid? Wow, Got News created the perfect storm!

A campaign manager for Thad Cochran named "Saleem" recruited a Reverend and paid him to solicit votes from Mississippi residents in exchange for money. According to Reverend Fielder, a registered Democrat, he was told to pay voters to vote for Thad, "because McDaniel was racist." This is a violation of 18 U.S.C. 597 and 42 U.S.C. 1973i(c). This is huge. Cochran and his campaign manager will face jailtime if found guilty. "Saleem" is not the real name of the campaign manager.

lol, REAL serious stuff there. Almost as good as Briebart *shaking head*

Republicants also said that electing President Obama would kill jobs - Didn't quite work out that way.

Well your care about corruption is about as shallow as you and most Democrats going to be caught up this scandal
so poo poo the source if it helps and bury your head in the sand while you're at it

It's just MORE noise from the right wingers., Weird not even Faux is carrying it right? lol

Juries in the court of law work just that way. The first thing they might do is make judgements on the character of the accused. Whether or not he was charged, regardless of who was in the wrong, it makes people leary. It has nothing to do with our justice system, but with psychology.

this is all over the net folks

it's going to break and guess who these liberals are going to accuse in this mess? not the Democrats that helped in it you can bet on that

ALL OVER THE NET? lol

Grow up, It's not on ANY credible sources, Faux, CNN, AP, WaPo, etc... IT'S ON BLOGS AND FACEBOOK, LOL

According to this site, and its eye witness quoted therein....Got News

According to it, some of Thad Cochran's thugs need to go to jail.

Of all places, Mississippi is liable to be in play for the Democrats in the Senate race this November.

Almost all Mississippi Republicans would like to see Harry Reid fall out with apoplexy right on the Senate floor in the middle of one of his lies.

But, a whole lot of Republicans are so angry, they will be voting for the Democrat this fall. Harry Reid just lies to them. Thad Cochran betrayed them, after they supported him for almost 40 years.

It's all too pat. I can't believe the Cochran campaign would be that dumb. And if it's provable and Cochran knew about it he will lose his Senate seat and in all likelihood go to jail. And why are all the texts dated on the 21st when the election was on the 24th. Wasn't advance voting was there and so why would the campaign pay in advance? I don't buy it but politicians have surprised me with their stupidity before.

Progressives don't care how much their politicians break the law. As long as they push The Agenda, that's all that counts.

People like Nutz-breath yearn for an atheist theocracy in America, one where everyone has to accept being ruled by a bunch of corrupt Democrat thugs.

A lot of Republicans complain about voter fraud. Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White actually committed it

So long as you’re a Republican, you won’t spend any time in jail for voter fraud. And, if you’re Charlie White, Indiana’s lucky, now-former Republican secretary of state who received just one year of home detention for all of those crimes, you’ll likely be “elated,” just as White was after his sentencing hearing last week.

Conviction in GOP voter-suppression scheme

Paul E. Schurick, the 2010 campaign manager for former Maryland governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., was convicted Tuesday by a Baltimore jury of four counts stemming from a robocall that prosecutors said was intended to suppress the black vote.

Fortunately, other members of the former Republican governor’s team will also stand trial for their role.

The irony is, the fraud Republicans are worried about is imaginary, while the real-world fraud is coming from their side of the political divide.

Sure, it may make people "leery".

It doesn't make him any more or less likely to commit election fraud, though.

Some people are really, really stupid. And, it can be possible Saleem had more than one phone, actually it is a possibility. In order not to get caught, all he would have to do is call from a number not associated with the phone he used with the campaign. Even still, a trace would make pin him if anything.

All you have to do is form a chronological timeline of the calls and texts. Oh, I can also tell you that they can trace the CB number on the phone via the text messages. That was an old flip phone Fielder was holding, they show the CB or "call back" numbers at the end of the message. There are plenty of ways an investigation can proceed. It relies on a simple process of elimination.
