the problem is that the citizenship to vote law is not being enforced. In Cal they give drivers licenses to illegals and register them to vote at the same time. The bill would merely reinforce the existing law and require the states to comply, but we all know why the dems voted against it, not for the reasons you stated, but because they know they cannot win when only citizens vote.

There is absolutely ZERO EVIDENCE that the law isn't being enforced.
