The God of Mercy has established an eternal covenant with mankind. If you choose Mercy, you bind yourself to the eternal covenant. However, if you choose to go a different path - you will be left to your own devices.

Maybe so, but the insanity of "believers" who live by the sword is very real. And they actually want to rule the world (for Jesus of course) as if God was on vacation, sleeping, oblivious to reality, or nowhere to be found.
