I was.I thought you were being sarcastic.
A better response would have beenOne should never make fun of the human spirit. It is the most powerful influence in our lives here on this earth or any other world we choose to visit.
Agreed , no one should have the right to interfere with the aspirations of another spirit in this world . That's what freedom is all about. The experience here is whatever you choose it to be. Choosing activities that interfere with the life choices of others ( best example - murder ) should be viewed negatively.A better response would have been
If a biological male thinking that he is female, he's part of his religion, then I would never try to dissuade him. I would use his chosen pronouns in the same spirit that I would call a Catholic priest, Father., knowing that, of course, he is not my father Nor in any Supervisory or mentor position analogous, to parenthood, not to me.
On the other hand a religious belief is not they justification for impinging on the rights of others.
Where a spiritual belief in transgenderism does not interfere with the rights of others, I have no issue with it. Nor do I view it as any of my business.
He believes that as part of his religion.
Just as people believe a man was created out of dust, and a woman out of him, and that the literal son of God came to Earth via a virgin birth, and rose from the dead after being executed on the cross.
I defy any elected Democrat to state that they KNOW none of that ever happened.
You miss the point of my argument. Not only is it impossible to say that it never happened, it is also impossible to confirm that it really did happen. So your argument has no merit whatsoever.
That’s what “faith” means. Belief without evidence.
It's a slippery slope , best to judge by actions and respond as needed. You miss the point of my argument.
There are many Democrats who are completely convinced that it didn't happen. But elected Democrats would not say so, because they would lose voters. Only on anonymous forums or on sheltered venues such as college campuses, do people mock the beliefs of our leaders.
The idea that this is some shocking belief that Mike Johnson and some tiny and obscure cult believe is incorrect.
Natural history is not a science, but it is a valid way to theorize about what happened in the prehistory of Earth. I find the theory of the bible being the literal history of Earth to be pretty unlikely, in that natural history appears to show a movement from less varied and less complex organisms to more varied and more complex species. I also find the theory of new species arising via random mutations guided by or filtered by a nonsentient force called "natural selection" pretty unlikely, given the incredible strings of coincidences required.
Since the complexity of life on Earth gives the appearance of design, even according to Intelligent Designs strongest detractors, I find that theory most likely.
But, I don't say anyone who believes in any of those is somehow less worthy of public service and leadership. When I was in the Army, I never one time knew or even wondered about the beliefs of my superiors concerning origins of life or the Earth itself. The Commander I most respected may have been a person who hated the idea of ID, and clung to another theory. The laziest Sergeant to whom I gave only the respect required by Army protocol may have held my exact view of origins.
It just doesn't matter.
Why bother with it all. Live life as you're suppose to here , however you believe that should be.I will never adhere to what some article that is purely ideal says. I believe the earth is incredibly old and was created by God. Both are acceptable and my Christianity teaches me as such. This take one side or the other is for conspiracy theorists.
Nobody cares.Well, this is reassuring.
The new Speaker appears to believe that the Earth is 6,000 years old.
Before arriving in Washington less than a decade ago, House Speaker Mike Johnson, a deeply religious Christian, was a legal crusader associated with a fringe evangelical movement called “young Earth creationism,” based on a literal reading of the Bible’s Book of Genesis that posits the Earth is only several thousand years old.In the mere hours since Johnson was elected speaker Wednesday, he hadn’t had to address his views on creationism and evolution. But his close ties to a leader of the creationist movement and his past legal work — on behalf of the Ark Encounter creationist theme park, where children can learn that dinosaurs were passengers on Noah’s Ark — seem to suggest that he’s also personally aligned with these beliefs.
“The Ark Encounter is one way to bring people to this recognition of the truth, that what we read in the Bible are actual historical events,” Johnson said in a 2021 interview with Ark Encounter founder Ken Ham while guest-hosting the radio showof Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, an evangelical activist group.

There's no such thing is 'transgender' in the first place, you loon. Humans are born either male or female, there are only 2 genders. Redefining the word 'gender' is a Marxist trick and you either fell for it or are one yourself.I believe in transgender ism, never involves the rights of people, other than those who are transgender.
For those who object to transgender females in women’s change rooms, do you object to lesbians in women’s change rooms?? Any trans women I’ve ever met, dates MEN. They’re not interested in naked women, but lesbians are.

There are only males and females. Of course there are mutations but that is not the point here. 'Health Direct' is harping on just 2% (if that) of the human population. You had to go all the way to a health advice service in Australia to support your lunacy. There are more than 30 variations of the genes which determine human sexuality. This is a scientific fact.

Intersex variation
Intersex variations are caused by physical, hormonal or chromosomal differences. Learn more about intersex variation and what causes it here.www.healthdirect.gov.au
So no, there are not just two genders.

Sure their are. But many of those Christians do not subscribe to a literal interpretation of Genesis. No, I didn’t miss the point of your post at all. You did.
70% of all Democrats are Christians and many more are members of other faiths. This notion the Democrats don’t believe in Jesus or aren’t Christians is utterly false.
Come on!As a Republican, I would beg you stop acting like you know anything about what Democrats are thinking, believing or wanting.
You know nothing about other peoples beliefs.
If transsexuals comprise 1% of the human population, why is it so important to teach our kids about them? Isn't it more important to guide our kids toward being well adjusted, normal, human beings and, to be kind and accepting of the abnormal, but benign, human beings who are confused as to there natal sex?Transsexuals make up less than 1% of the population. That’s why the Republican obsession with transsexuals is really creepy and sick.
,06% , even at that low percentage that means there are 1.6 millions n Americans being pers cited in this country.Transsexuals make up less than 1% of the population. That’s why the Republican obsession with transsexuals is really creepy and sick.
She could have told you that from conception that I about the tenth week all human embryos are female. If the embryo gets a shot of testosterone in the 10th. Week then it becomes male. That would have really blown you away. The big difference between males and females amounts to very little. Humans just make a big deal out of it, only the Creator Entity knows why !Sure their are. But many of those Christians do not subscribe to a literal interpretation of Genesis.
Come on!
You can beg better than that . . .
