We don't know if they "immediately stopped riding their bikes" or if they intentionally came by to show their respect for a Veteran who was laid to rest. Since it was a small town I'm opting for the latter. The photo is great though.

Thanks whitehall , but I have to disagree re: the intentional part... I have forgot a lot about being a 8 yr old kid, but I never recall scoping out the local paper looking for obits of 80 yr old Vets to attend their Graveside Services... Happenstance brought those young men to this particular situation and they chose to do the right thing...

You're right regarding the picture... I'm glad it's there... Without it, somebody will come along and try to piss down our legs and tell us it is raining...
